Dr. Edward H Checkett

Brick Dental Practice was established in the 1980's with the philosophy of providing top quality dentistry at affordable prices.  Dr. Checkett and Dr. Felici have owned and run the practice since 2004.  Dr. Checkett and Dr. Felici met in 1986.  They both graduated from the University of Scranton in 1990 with a BS in Biology and then they attended and graduated from Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery with a DDS in 1994.  Dr. Checkett completed a one year General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital and has been in private practice since completing his residency.  Dr. Felici did a one year GPR at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.  He also completed a one year Implant residency at New York University for surgical and restorative treatment of dental implants.  Although both Doctors have owned the practice since 2004, Dr. Checkett and Dr. Felici have been practicing together in Ocean County for nearly 10 years, which is why patients can …expect the same quality and expertise no matter which Doctor they see.
Dr. Checkett is a married father of 3.  He was born in Brooklyn, grew up in Staten Island and now resides in Freehold, New Jersey.  Dr. Felici was born and raised in Philadelphia and now resides in Astoria, NY.  He is married with two children.  
Their hygienist Melissa Ryle has worked with Dr. Checkett and Dr. Felici since they took over the practice in 2004.  She graduated from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA in 2000 and did her clinical training at the University of Pennsylvania.
The friendly staff of Brick Dental Center consists of Maryann Romano, Amy Gottman and Kathy Bennett, who all work hard to making every patient feel comfortable and at home in the office.
