Dr. Edward Michael Chernick, MD

I don't know if its personal issues affecting work but was unable/unwilling to suggest any meaningful treatment for anything and was never available for follow up appointments, especially after serious medical events like hospitalizations. Nice guy but have looked elsewhere for care I can rely on.

Used to be good. Failed many times to refill prescriptions when due. Made none of the recommended referrals my surgeon and I recommended.

If you are a patient who needs any kind of attention beyond the once-a-year check-up, look else where. Follow-up by the doctor does not exist, and barely exists from his nurse. You are only as good as your face-to-face time in the office and your co-pay. And it's very difficult to schedule an appointment with him.

I visited Dr. Chernick at The Millhon Clinic recently and he seemed like a quality physician and very knowledgeable. I had been looking for a primary care physician and I would go back to see him. Unfortunately, the staff who administers x-rays, blood tests, and general administration of the facility completely ruined my experience. In fact, I wonder how some of them even have jobs. I got there are at 7:30 AM and waited an hour to see Dr. Chernick. Then after that I was sent from one place to another, saying I need this before that. Eventually, I got x-rayed and then I was sent to get a blood test at 9:30 AM. Fifteen minutes past and then they called the next patient, well I still have 7 more patients in front of me. I had enough, so I left at 9:45 AM. I could had stayed, but the way things were going, they might not had gotten to me until after lunch. I am a not a sheep and refuse to accept such poor service. I never even received a follow-up call of the results. As far as I am… concerned, someone owes me an hour of lost wages, $20 co-pay, and the breakfast didn't get to have.

I have been going to Dr. Chernick for over 20 years. I lucked out when I found him. He shows he really does care about you. Dr. Chernick is the BEST!!!! I would give him 50 stars if I could.
