Dr. Edward Hyun Chung, MD

Dr. Chung performed a laminectomy on May 25. Before the surgery my life was a living nightmare. Pain spasms from my sciatic nerve and knife-like bone spurs which dug into my flesh whenever I sat down. The surgery was a life-changing event. The symptoms are gone. I am pain free, His PA Seth Ullian who assisted Dr. Chung was the first to correctly diagnose my condition.

I met with Dr. Chung twice and he is very patient, great listener and brilliant doctor.

Doesn’t matter if you’re a good and great doctor if the patient have to wait about a hour.

Much more pain after operation - 10 months later

Terry is great communicator she was amazing,, Dr Chung was concerned and spent time with my mom ( 83)and she had to go back , not feeling well ordered test just to make sure all good as opposed to saying give it time, They took great care of her.. I would travel from Orlando to see him if I ever needed a doctor in his field! lots of paperwork LOL,, but they have to have it,,,

YWorst doctor I've ever experienced. He nicked my spinal cord while doing a fusion. Five surgeries later they got the spinal fluid leak to stop and it wasn't Dr. Chung that got it to stop. He left me high and dry. His bedside manner is horrible and his professionalism is questionable at best. The last time I saw him I was crying in the hallway of his office. He led me into an examination room and closed the door behind me that left me standing in the examination room by myself crying.

Love the dr hate the staff. When checking out the man at the desk was having a conversation with a blonde girl and a girl with straight brown hair regarding his girlfriend wanting to have a threesome. The conversation was loud enough to be heard in the lobby and none of them stopped talking when I walked up. Truly disgusting unprofessional behavior. I

Dr Chung is great. Love him. The staff makes the office difficult to deal with. You never know who is going to answer the phone and if they are able to help you. I think the answers the staff give just suit them at the time. I have been forgotten and my chart misplaced causing me to wait about two hours. When I asked when my turn would be the girl discovered the guy covering her for lunch didn't finish my chart. It was never put up. Frustrating.

Dr Chung is a true gentleman. Really cares about his patients. His PA is knowledgeable and professional. I had surgery six months ago and the team of people involved in my care were the best. Even at the hospital! My only negative is the phones and trying to get through to the office. Not the brightest phone staff. Just hang up if you get a man and call back. Easier than trying to explain to him what you need.

I came to this office referred by my primary Doctor and I was very nervous and in great pain. When I came for my visit I was so pleased with the warm reception from the staff! The man who worked at the check in was very patient with me as he slowly explained to me there would be a wait to see the doctor. As i waited he was kind enough to check on me and ask if I was ok. The office staff is great and I told my friends who have spine issues to come and use this practice cause they make u feel like you are very important.
