Dr. Clark has a peaceful and observative demeanor in which he remains impressively stoic- at first this confused me, but I realized that he was taking in every single word I say- truly processing and CARING about it. His compassion and patience is unparalleled. I have shuffled through a revolving door of inpatient psychiatric stays for the better half of my life, suffering inhumanly with ptsd, anorexia, and unspecified personality and mood disorders. Dr. Clark has taken care of me twice, and I do believe with the medication regimen and compassionate direction he gave me in my last stay that it could be my last. He dug up the roots of my illness and helped me achieve sustainable wellness. He is absolutely brilliant in figuring out how to treat his patients medically because of his attention to detail and patterns. He provides a sense of safety, hope and confident expertise.
