When I first saw Dr Coale I knew I am in good hands. He did a great job on my wrists and after one month I was able to start driving again and then in about two months I got back to work. Thank you Dr Coale !

Understood my current condition and treatment much be better.

My thumb was and is currently partially out of socket due to a work related injury. I have been unable to use my hand in my profession as a CNA for over a year. Although my xrays clearly show my thumb is out of socket he keeps having this dual conversation with me "that in regards to L & I I do need a surgery but L & I isnt going to pay for it because my thumb being out of joint is from arthritis". And i should just learn to deal with it". But then he goes on to ask me to fill out pre op papers because i need to have a surgery to put my thumb back in place, and that i could use my own insurance to pay for it"! Which means I need the surgery but L & I wont pay him what he thinks he's worth. Therefore he becomes rude, impatient, highly aggitated with any questions or concerns because of his narcissism and OCD when it comes to arthritis. If your bone was broke he will spend an hour debating your arthritis. He suggested I close my L & I case with my finger in the condition it is. Yet again… stated " if you have any more problems with it after the fact, you can come back under your insurance". Initially, he gave me a spiel about the surgery and the step by step process of the actual surgery and post op. Yet, wants me to close my L & I case. He shouldn't take L & I cases if he feels the money and person is not worth his time!

Very pleased with my appointment with Dr Coale. The treatment and recovery where explained fully. It was a simple procedure and was pleased with the result. My Thanks the the Dr and staff for your care.

I've met many physicians, however, Dr. Coale is one-of-a-kind! From the onset of my hand problem, to the surgery, to the after care, I felt comfortable with Dr. Coale. He has a positive bed-side manner, he listens, he explained the process and set appropriate expectations. His surgical abilities can't be questioned, since after 1 week of surgery, I am using my hand with no pain or discomfort. I appreciate all he and his team has done, and highly recommend Dr. Coale.

I had a terrible time seeing Dr. Coale. I had bilateral tendonitis (with nerve damage) and he treated me like a complete waste of his time. He eventually decided he was not able to surgically fix me and he basically told me "that's just the way it is, I'm not sure why it's not improving for you." ... When asked for a prognosis he said "really just can't tell. IIt will probably take a year..or maybe two." He wasn't helpful at all with how to treat myself and I was visibly in pain every visit. He quickly shot down the questions I researched specifically for alternative treatment rather than just "rest" and "just minimize using your arms as much as possible." How long I asked? "As much as possible". He shouldn't be a doctor if he doesn't actually care about helping the people in his "care". I also sincerely needed him to work with WA Labor Industries. He in fact made my experience with the notoriously difficult labor department an even more horrible experience. Until now, I didn't… know it was possible. He bascially ignored the department whenever they sent any sort of paperwork to him for clarification. I had to call repeatedly over the months just to get him to do his job. He openly got mad at ME when I asked why he won't respond to the Labor Department about diagnosis clarification. He said it's there problem and he was just not going to respond....except the entire time I was in pain, out of work and just trying to get PT treatment.

Dr. Coale lied to me about my condition, telling me that surgery wouldn't help. A neurologist I saw later questioned Dr. Coale's assessment, and after having surgery with another doctor my condition was cured.
