Dr. Edward David Eckert, MD

I met Dr Eckert over a year or so ago. I went on Troches. They would not absorb. It took and hour each time and tasted like poison. I asked for bloodwork as I was still depressed, getting night sweat etc.... my troches never worked and he refused me bloodwork so I still had the faith as menopause becomes desperate. After I finally got him to do my blood he said I had no hormones..... really 1200 in wasted money and a year of feeling bad, noted by others in the office. So he switched me to suppositories. He inappropriately told me to take a pic and laughed...... not the first in appropriate comment....I was forced to buy 3 months worth although I’m financially strapped. I only wanted a months worth. He said in the lobby if they don’t work I can get a refund. He lied... no refund. The suppositories made me bleed for 8 days , its been 5 years.... then they wanted me to do an ultrasound for 250 dollars. Too much a coincidence. I then went for a second opinion. Switched drs. Got the pellet.… My blood came back my estradiol was so low It could not be read. Progesterone empty, thyroid sluggish. Testosterone at 16 supposed to be 150/300. I was described as a car without an engine and that’s how I felt. I’m appalled I can’t get a 200 refund after all that. Shame on you Dr. Eckert..... in a pandemic with no money, you sold me product that never worked and now won’t keep your word...

Dr. Eckert always takes the time to answer any questions or concerns I've had. His office staff is efficient and helpful.

I’ve been a long time patient and would never consider going anywhere else for my Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement needs, plus ordering on-line is simple, fast and convenient… not to mention if I am out of town, I can video conference with the medical staff and get the answers I need immediately. If you ever do have the pleasure of visiting the office in person, you will be greeted by a courteous receptionist and staff members that present themselves in a positive and professional manner. Dr. Eckert is one of those Doctors who is honest and has a direct approach, he genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients! I don’t know where I would be today if I hadn’t found you and your therapies, thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr. Eckert for quit a few years..Although his bedside manner might not be what attracts his patients he has a lot of years of experience with hormones. Which ultimately is what’s important to me. In the past there have been some issues with the staff and the turn over, but I feel they have ironed out all the kinks and have very helpful people there to help and assist you.. lori

Dr Eckert is a unique character, one word- egotistical , can be annoying, you must have a thick skin to come here. But he has been the only Dr out of 4-5 that has helped me at least 50% plus with my hormones. He has no bedside manners. His staff is a whole another story. He has gone thru 4-5 nurses in a few years, I am not even sure they are nurses, they may just be LPN's. They are all under 25 years old. They cannot even spell the work menopause let alone have any patience or compassion for the patients encountering issues. The newest receptionist so far has been the nicest, from the prior ones that were rude and lacking compassion. Not sure how he does not notice what goes on.

Dr. Eckert is not interested in the health of his patients, he is only interested in the money we put in his pockets!

Gave him 2 stars not one because his staff makes him appear worse than he maybe. He has some suppose to be nurse working there that barely understands an English conversation; how can you have an important person in this role that does not understand English? His staff screens all his calls he barely speaks to his patients which is what I hate, how can you help cure someone’s medical condition if you choose to not speak with your patients and your nurse does not understand English. I don’t care for his pompous egotistical attitude however he did get me further along than other drs that claims to understand hormones. I chose to leave his office because of his staff ; his staff is rude and he can be rude so he sets the example for them. at this point I’m a little undecided because he has helped me the most out of all the other drs : if someone else can recommend another doctor I would appreciate it .

After seeing multiple physicians, some of them self-proclaimed experts in hormone replacement therapy, Dr. eckert solved my complex issues in minutes. His experience and knowledge is incredible. Highly recommended to me and it was a great experience.

WENT FOR MY ANNUAL CHECK UP AND I MUST SAY I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH NOT ONLY THE DOCTOR BUT THE STAFF. MY VISIT WAS PROMPT AND EVERY STAFF MEMBER STARTING FROM THE FRON TO THE BACK WERE AS NICE AND PROFESSIONAL AS CAN BE. AND ANOTHER PLUS WAS THE THE NEW OFFICE UPGRADE!

After reading all these horrible reviews I can not even believe it is the same Dr. Dr Eckert is truly amazing. He spent 20-30 minutes with us. although he diagnosed me within minutes and told me everything that I already suspected but that no other Dr wanted to hear about. I suffer from chronic migraines due to a hormonal imbalance. I have been made to see two "top" neurologists to have two brain MRI's (quite costly), I've seen other top OBGYN's and none would listen to me when I said I thought I had a hormone imbalance and more specifically low progesterone. Due to google then actually ordering my own blood work, I confirmed this (I did not tell him this until after he diagnosed me). Dr Eckert asked a few very specific and important questions and looked at me and said before we do any blood work, I know what is wrong with you... "you have low progesterone..." THANK YOU!!!! Finally a Dr that listened to everything I had to say, took me seriously and actually seemed to genuinely… want to help me. He even suggested other environmental triggers such as preservatives etc.. that my body may not be used to (as I am not originally from this country) that could also be trigger's for my migraines. He thought outside the box. Looked at me and my life as a whole and I believe went above and beyond to help me with my debilitating condition. He said a couple of things that I thought were funny and made me laugh which was refreshing. Because he does not take our insurance he also said he hopefully won't see me for a year, but that I could call him if I had any questions. I knew he meant he did not want us to keep having to pay cash out of pocket too regularly if the HRT works. He is a straight shooter and does not sugar coat things. If you want someone to just give you a pat on the back and a reassuring smile and you continue with your condition, go somewhere else. If you want the honest truth and to potentially be "cured", go to Dr Eckert. And by the way, the office was five star, brand new and beautiful. not to mention very clean. The staff were so caring and easy to work with. My husband liked him very much as well. No, there were no toddlers in scrubs. Wait time was average, maybe 20 mins. Thanks for working with the fact that you did not take our insurance and helping us save some money over the next 12 months. I wish more Dr's were like you. A truly refreshing experience.
