Dr. Edward Ezrick, MD

Only interested in himself And money. Doesnt care about human beings! Will yell at patients if there is Any problem with their Insurance.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ezrick for at least seven years. His knowledge of medicine is excellent. Whenever I ask a question, I always get a very clear, precise answer that I, as a layman, can understand. I have never once felt rushed while being examined or in the discussion that followed. He has always taken as much time as is needed with me. I have some serious issues with my health and am being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan. Dr. Ezrick stays in touch with my specialists and very carefully keeps all the information in my file in his office current. He has also taken the time to carefully explain anything that I might have a question about either from his own examination or those of others from the information that is forwarded to him. I couldn't ask for more. As to his staff, they have always been extremely courteous and polite and they have always kept my records, and they are voluminous, in perfect order. . When I read some of the reviews below I felt as if… these people must have gone to another doctor. They have always managed to fit either myself, or my wife, in for a same day appointment if the situation warrants it. His current staff is the receptionist Ellisa and his medical assistant Melissa. They are terrific. I must mention too that I am always given a follow-up appointment before I leave. Yes, his waiting room might be a bit crowded sometimes, but I know that this is due to the individual and personal service that he gives his patients. I just don't know how anyone could ask for more than I am getting from him. If anyone disagrees with what I have written, then maybe they have a problem, not Dr. Ezrick or his staff.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Ezrick for over 25 years and we all would agree that not only does he know his stuff when it comes to medicine/diagnosing, but he knows his patients as well. Dr. Ezrick will take the time to get to know you and really cares about your well-being. He will often call you to check up on you and see how you are doing if you haven't been feeling well which I think is remarkable. He is very good at educating you if you have any medical questions-you will get a direct answer explained on a level that you can understand. It can sometimes be difficult to get an appointment on short notice, but I have always found the staff to be accommodating to get me in if I am really feeling sick. As far as wait times...there have been times where I was in and out real quick, but most of the time there is a decent wait. His office can get pretty packed, but that's to be expected when you go to a really good doctor anywhere. His office staff has changed quite a bit… thru the years, but I have never had a problem with any of them. Although they may seem clearly disinterested in befriending you, they do get things done if you ask something of them and seem to be exceptionally efficient as of late (especially compared to the staff of some other docs in that particular building!). If they tell you they'll call you back, they really do call you back typically not instantaneously, but certainly within a reasonable amount of time. As far as I see, the only real downside to being his patient however is the fact that his only hospital affiliation is Kings Highway Beth Israel which is certainly not the greatest. Overall, I think Dr. Ezrick is top-notch. My entire family and I could not be happier with him as our doctor. Bring a book (or seven!!) with you to read, but he's well worth the wait!

I have personally been with this Dr for over 7 years. He is a general practitioner so I don't get to see him often - maybe 3-4 times a year give or take. Sometimes I've been early, sometimes late but irrelevant of the fact I still always wait 1 hour at least. Every encounter I have had with him, has felt rushed and sometimes even inconvenient. He loves to talk but barely listens. Let's not even start talking about his staff: Rude is a nice word and they are consistently this way even if they are not the same people. As though when he advertises for a position, one of the requirements state "unpleasant and unprofessional a must". What is sad is that half of what they are saying is more than likely valid and fair but the delivery is so disgusting that it cancels-out the message. I've had it all: - the rolling of the eyes, the bad looks, the making me wait longer just because. One of them even said to me that if I really wanted to see rude she would not have given me an appointment -… Gasp, gasp!!! White flag. Enough already. Half of my experience is interacting with his staff who are supposed to be representing him. I decided that if I have to be subjected to this everytime I go to see him, it's just not worth it. Especially if my experience with him is not the greatest either. I did try to speak to him about it but his staff got to him first and told a host of lies so he was already defensive. When your sick, it's the last thing you need so farewell....you won't be missed!

Dr. Ezrick is an uncaring and distracted individual to say the least! He could care less how a patient is feeling all he cares about is if they can make their payments. He not only mistreats his pateints but he also mistreats his staff. He is quick to insult the elderly and make fun of the sick to the face! He will "punish" his patients if they dont do what he wants them to do! He is not a doctor he is a controlling, manipulating dictator!

i came to dr. ezrick thru a sick friend and i had an opportunity to observe his bedside manner up close before becoming his patient. i believe dr. ezrick saved my life with an observation and tests that he ordered done to dx a disorder that was unknown to me and would likely have caused me to die from a heart attack and goodbye, me.. he is the best.
