Dr. Edward Paul Hassey, DDS

Upon graduating from the Dental School of Georgetown University in 1955, returned home and started his private dental practice in downtown Lawrence, Massachusetts and chose the first office location in the Kannan Building at 125 Amesbury Street.
Dr. Hassey's vision was to provide the local community with high-quality family dental care. His dedication and gentle manners were soon appreciated by his patients and colleagues.
In 1967, the opportunity presented itself to expand the practice across the street in a new facility known as the Doctors Center at 100 Amesbury Street. For over thirty years the practice was located here, a comfortable setting in a modern facility.
In 1982, upon graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Edward P. Hassey joined his father's dental practice. From that day on, they were known to patients and staff as Drs. Ed Senior and Ed Junior. As the practice grew, the Amesbury Street facility could no longer accommodate the needs of the local …community. The decision was made to relocate the practice.
Under Dr. Ed Junior's supervision, the practice moved in 1996 to its present location at 100 Milk Street in Methuen, Massachusetts. The office was upgraded with the latest state-of-the-art equipment. The expanded facility maintained the comfortable atmosphere that the practice is known for.
In the fall of 1999, Dr. Ed Senior withdrew from the practice of dentistry. After 45 years of commitment to the local community, providing high-quality family dentistry, he is fondly remembered by patients, staff, and colleagues.
Shortly thereafter, Dr. Thinh Do Duy joined the practice. Dr. Thinh is a graduate from the Faculté de Medicine Dentaire of Paris, France and the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He continues the tradition of quality dentistry that the practice is known for.
