Dr. Edward Enrado Hernaez, MD

Stay away from this "doctor". I briefly saw him when he was at Golf Mill Medical Center and my wife and I had terrible experiences with him. Very unprofessional. One day I walk in for a physical and he tells me "you need to be on dialysis" ...LOL, WHAT?!?! I asked him "are you sure you have the right patient???" and he assured me that I needed dialysis. He was wrong. My numbers were fine. I've never needed it. In another occasion he told my wife that she was on the brink of a heart attack and put her on cholesterol medication. She never needed it. After a second option, we found out she was fine. After blood work I asked him to check my testosterone level. When my number came back low his comment to me was "there's something wrong with your b@ll$"... this is coming from a "doctor". In one of those doctor visits they were blasting Drake on the speakers. It wasn't a clean version of a song... nope, the song had cuss words this and that... I couldn't believe it. With little kids in the… waiting room. Stay away from this guy.

Dr. Edward Hernaez is professional, thorough, and kind. His employees are also professional, thorough, and kind. I hope I can continue to be his patient, as long as my employer provided health care insurance, has Dr. Hernaez listed.

First of all, we arrived early and prepared. After being escorted to an exam room, we weren't seen for over a 1/2 hour.....1/2 hour after our scheduled appt. and we heard the dr. talking to another patient as he entered another room, and that patient came in after we did. Further, a sign in the exam room said that if the patient were 15 min late for their appt, they would need to reschedule, yet here the Dr. was more than double than that late for us. Is our time not valuable? We had already paid our copay prior to being escorted to the room. He was a very pleasant Dr.and didn't challenge me if I had a question/disagreement. He did make a mistake, however on his prescription for blood tests, but I caught it when home and called later and all was remedied. It would have cost me more had I not noticed, as a blood test he ordered wasn't needed.

Dr. Hernaez is a very professional and kind physician. He spent time doing a thorough evaluation and follow-up. His staff is also very pleasant and hard-working. He has a very busy practice, but takes the time for evaluation and follow-up. I have not had to wait more than five minutes. He and his staff puts you at ease.
