Dr. Edward Myer Klein, MD

Have been seeing Dr kleins has my two grown girls since 1979 . I can say when I first saw him I'm guessing he as in his 20's and was very clinical. But when I had all of my pregnancies I couldn't have had a better doctor. He was a completely different doctor in l/D. Compassionate funny,calming,and everything a new or old mother needed. Highly recommend this man as I said my two girls still go to him.

I can easily talk to him with my every concern without feeling silly or that it is too trivial a matter. He listens and gives advice without making me feel embarrassed. I'm never hurried out and he just exudes trust. I've been going to him for years and will continue.

Have been with him for years. He was fabulous with both my husband and I through precancerous treatments of the cervix, infertility and finally three high risk pregnancies. Always made us feel at ease. When our last child was born with Down Syndrom he spent tons of time with us supporting and listening. Always was very gentle with me and made me feel like I was a priority.

I had 2 very high risk pregnancies and he was great with me and my husband. Patiently answered all of our questions and followed up with us. Very caring and understanding with both of us. As a matter of fact, when my 1st daughter was born she was in the NICU for 2 weeks and he always kept tabs on her before coming to see me in my room.

If you are looking to have a completely natural Birth experience, do not go to Dr. Klein. Was not supportive in this choice and was not supportive of having a doula (who actually did more during the birth than he did). He got into a fight with my husband in the delivery room seconds before the baby was born; completely unprofessional and unacceptable and something I would never get away with in my profession as a teacher. Was going to give me an episiotomy despite my wishes not to have one and despite the fact that I did not need one, I did not rip at all, except internally from him putting his hands in my vagina and pulling to stretch it. AND WORST OF ALL - He did not even realize that my baby was in serious distress and not breathing, I had to yell at the nurses for help, the baby was in the NICU for 8 days and he did not even recognize that the situation was serious. He in fact forcefully handed over the baby when I asked if I could hold him.
