Uncaring, most unprofessional...Danielle DuBiel, P.A.-C wrote me a "NOT Contagious" note on her RX pad to go back to work at a public pool after examining me for a skin condition. 5 days later a boy came down with the exact same bite pattern. Decide for yourself and your kids, They can not be trusted.

I had been putting off going to the dermatologist for several months..finally had enough..called Dr. Kotz..the happened to have a cancellation appt and I got to go in that same morning..which I know isn't typically the norm...i got lucky..i got there front staff was friendly...didnt have a wait ...the assistant was nice and listened to what I had to say...Dr.kotz came in and examined me ...took time explained everything wasnt in a rush like alot of doctors can be...dont get me wrong either he was busy..but took time with me...he prescribed me meds....and unbelievably by the next day,this place one my face that had been there for going on 3 months turned the corner and was significantly better..i am grateful and so happy I went there...i will refer anyone that needs a top notch dermatologist to Dr. Kotz...

Wonderful providers and staff! I have seen the doctor and both PAs before and all of them are very thorough and have great bedside manner.

I was not happy with the Dermatologist I was currently seeing, so I tried Dr. Kotz as a second opinion. He, as well as the staff, were incredible! I felt totally at ease, as much as one can, being told you need surgery due to skin cancer. They reassured me that they do this procedure on a daily basis and that if he didn't feel it were something he could handle, he would refer me to a plastic surgeon. This was the confidence, yet humbleness I was looking for, yet didn't receive from the first place I went. I scheduled and have had the surgery. I can't tell you how pleased I am. Dr. Kotz took his time during the procedure and was sure that my scar would be minimal. Within 2 weeks, you couldn't tell anything had been done! As a woman, having surgery on her face...this is MAJOR! I would recommend everyone needing a good dermatologist.

Professional, knowledgeable, but most of all sincere. He takes the time to explain issues on layman's terms with any requested detail. My exams have been exceptionally meticulous and his courses of treatment effective. The staff is absolutely delightful. You can tell at first impressions this is a pleasant environment.

Dr. Kotz and his staff are amazing. The office is pleasant and welcoming. The staff are knowledgeable about insurance plans, helpful, courteous and always have a warm welcoming smile. Dr. Kotz understands that some medications are not covered by the various insurance plans and tries to accommodate unless it will affect the desired outcome. We had two children on accutane at two different times so I was in the office at least once a month for over a year. The experience was amazing and the results incredible. Sometimes we had to change appointments at the last minute and the staff always tried to find a solution to keep us on course. Dr. Kotz is a warm, welcoming and very very thorough physician. I really owe them a lot because I have two very Happy kids with beautiful skin.

My family has skin cancer history so I have been coming here for years. Amanda (the PA) is smart, gentle, and kind. Dr. Kotz is up to date on everything, has a compassionate heart, and doesn't candy coat things just to tickle your ears. He always gives me the straight truth and also doesn't overcharge or prescribe things only available in his office (like some mt pleasant places). If you want pampering and spa treatment this is not your place. If you want real dermatology and meticulous surgical skill, yes.

So far so good, though I am worried a bit after reading the reviews. A neighbor that is a doctor saw a mole on my child, said it looks suspicious. He uses this doctor as does his wife. I called the woman was so nice on the phone. Had no availabilty but is working us in on Wednesday. I am going in with eyes wide open for any rudeness or disinterest. Fingers crossed but so far very very nice.

my last visit...last year....was not a friendly nor compassionate experience. I felt very talked-down to....and unimportant to the doctor. been a patient there since the wonderful and kind Dr. Burgess was there. many years. this fellow took over her practice as she moved on to teach. I thought I would try one more time as my deductible has finally been met (thanks to the...Affordable Health Care plan that's ruined the coverage of so many of us. and....I need some serious help. the outgoing answering message that picks up is...rude. too long and rambling....with no humans available. I left my message saying...no way could I make an appointment. their outgoing message only proved to me that what was a sad doctoring environment has only gotten worse. patients are people too., unlike our Family Physician's outgoing menu done professionally and with tact and easy to navigate through...this one...was...very unprofessional and hard to follow. at the end...they… say...something akin to this. *unless you leave all the information we ask you to...we will not return your call*. period. thank you very much. I left my number and said...I can't remember what else I was suppose to tell them...so they can call me back if they want to. they did. left a message saying...*we want to talk to you. sorry you couldn't get a human. but we are very understaffed and we are all busy, so please call us back* did they say please? I can't remember. so there's that! they're not only cold...but understaffed as well. who wants to hook up with new doctor like that? and...they are accepting new patients by the way. apparently I am not the only one making the exodus. sad. really am sad about it. too bad. :( forgive me for being long and wordy. I'm an old woman now ;) unbelievable. they need some sensitivity training there. I am on the hunt for a good caring dermatology practice. it's easy online. I am stunned to find all these awful reviews about this Practice. I don't feel so bad now that I got upset over the way they conduct business. I see I am not the only one. so...Husband and I will go elsewhere. wow. wonder if the doctor ever bothers to search out their patients reviews that go public like this. they should.

2nd time sent to this office and 2nd time left without being seen. First time left in room for over 30 minutes and no one checked on me. This time I called in advance and spoke to the Office Manager and was assured I would be seen on time. When I arrived and found no one at the reception window but did find several patient charts open and their personal information exposed. I filed out my paper work and that's when I noticed that 4 people had the same appointment time of 12:45. No if it a Doctor and a PA how do we see 4 people at the same time. I waited till past my appointment time and figures that nothing has change in this practice. And I would get the excuse that some Dermatology emergency cam up in the 25 minutes from the time i spoke to the Office Manager. Also a FYI. If you call and ask if the doctor is on time the staff gauges the response on how empty the lobby is.
