Edward Lebovics, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Lebovics for almost 30 years. I can honestly say that he has saved my life with his vigilance and expertise. He has always treated me with respect and educated me fully regarding my medical problems and any recommended testing and treatment. Recently, Dr. Lebovics saw my daughter who was experiencing vague symptoms. Because of his educated hunch, she had a test that found a problem which he was able to treat successfully. If not for him, this problem would have shortened her life by decades. We are forever grateful for his care and dedication.

I was referred to Dr. Lebovics for elevated liver tests. He suspected fatty liver and wanted me to have a liver biopsy. I was hesitant and was basically laughed at for not wanting to be cut open. He sent me for an MRI that showed nothing wrong with my liver and refused to accept that. He rudely told me to lose weight and wouldn’t accept normal range tests from another doctor. I was shown no compassion. I switched to another doctor who was able to confirm that the elevated levels were not related to my liver, and that there is no fatty liver. All done non invasively and with respect and compassion for the patient.

I have been ill with Hepatitis c since 2001 and over the course of these years have seen too many specialists. Dr. Lebovics knows much more about my illness than any of the Drs.I have previously seen and I wish I had found him sooner. I am a pro active and knowledgeable patient and have confidence that I have met the Dr. who is most likely to save my life!

My husband has been under Dr. Lebovics care for approximately three years. He is a magnificent doctor who is both caring and compassionate. If only all doctors were as devoted to his patients, knowledgeable and as conscientious as he is!!
