Horrible bedside manner. Doesn’t care about his patients, especially women - will not treat you well

If you want result, find another Doctor.

The total time he spent with me over the past 2-3 months was about ten minutes. Since then, I have to go through someone else in his office for questions or future appointments. Appointments have been 2 months apart for me to find out the results of all of the tests he administered. I have never gotten a real diagnosis and absolutely no guidance. He is very aloof.

I like Dr Mcdonald as my neurologist, do I think he has the best bed side manner, no I don't . I feel he is knowledgeable in his field. I do have some issues with his nurses, I have trouble getting refills on my medication and never get return calls.

I too am a provider and am appalled at Edward's lack of empathy to pt's. He is extremely jaded, controls the appointments by not listening to what the pt presents with....he basically runs through his list of questions and has no time for what the pt has to say (if they even get a word in edgewise). He is a narcist and if he would listen, could diagnose pts correctly instead of pts navigating themselves to the right providers in order to obtain the correct diagnosis. Extremely POOR excuse for a provider....definitely would recommend for TLC to replace with a different neuro provider. The front desk staff are extremely kind and friendly.

I have been coming to see Dr McDonald for a long time and his front staff are extremely pleasant to work with. I have never had a problem with making an appointment or getting a return call from Denise or Tammy. I have had a few hiccups with the prescription line where the nurses will not return my calls or call in my medication. Several times the medication has been called in to the pharmacy and no one has called me to let me know or I would need to schedule an appointment and the nurse doesn't call me to let me know. It's a waiting game with the nurses. Overall excellent practice!

i had a massive stroke, he told me i couldnt work or drive ,and probably need to be on disability. that was 7 years ago and i work ever day now and i am fine. i thought he was a butthole.

Out of three visits, saw the Doctor one time. Other visits were by PA who was ready to prescribe, slow to listen. Original question was never answered. Cannot recommend.

He was very nice to me will continue to see him.
