Dr. Nelson-Freund displays calm active listening without any judgement when I needed more time to make a decision. I appreciated his approach letting me delay acceptance of knee replacement for what ended up being 2 years after my initial contact.

Surgeon discussed two ways of completing the surgery and left a feeling of confidence in his abilities.

Dr. N-F and his PA were on time, very efficient. Questions were answered. Appreciated their senses of humor. Clerk who checked me in and MA were also very nice.

I can not say enough positive statements about Dr. Nelsen-Fruend (sounds like'"friend") and his medical staff at Froedtert. I postponed my knee replacement for too long because I was terrified of the surgery. A co-worker suggested his name and I am glad I followed up on the tip. I was impressed with Dr. Nelsen-Friend's sensitivity and his listening skills. I was treated like a human being while working with him and his staff instead of another "patient." You may not be able to get in to see him soon but, it is well worth the wait to meet with him if you can.

Dr. Nelsen-Freund replaced my second knee six weeks ago. I didn't think I could possibly have the same positive outcome as the first replacement, but I did. I have complete confidence in him and would recommend him with confidence.
