Dr. Nep is one of the most patient, considerate, friendly Doctors we have ever run across. We have never felt rushed whatsoever and he has always taken the time to make sure we had our questions answered and that we understood everything. He is a TOP GUN ONCOLOGIST is our book. Appeared unsure of himself with diagnosis. Justly so as it turned out he was wrong. We got second opinion from different facility, non Kaiser, found new lymph node involvement. Informed Nepo of possible spreading. Never heard a word from him for two weeks. He was caught lying to us twice once regarding new methods of testing and again regarding biopsy of tumor. After the second lie we drop Nepo. Unfortunately Nepo seems typical doctor at Kaiser. They act like health administrators, not doctors, dispensing treatment from Kaisers small box of standardized cancer treatment. For some it will work and for those that it doesn't they repeat the same treatment packaged to look like new treatment. To me they seemed years behind in new cancer testing and treatment methods and doctors with available knowledge to use them.

Dr. Nepo is kind, caring, soft spoken and professional. He listens to patients and recommends proper treatment. He treated my dad before my dad passed away of cancer I spoke with Dr. Nepo at least twice a week during my dad's last 3 weeks. He always see my dad when needed. He is thorough, honest, and realistic with patient. No sugar coat just how we like it. He doesn't rush you off like the senior Hematologist at Lakeview Anaheim such as Farah Brasfield, the head doctor of that dept. She is the worst! She is insensitive, rude, incompetent, and has no regard to patients time. Wait time in lobby to see her with a set appointment is 1.5 to 2 hours! I saw her shooting the breeze with staff while we have waited 2 hours before being seen. Dr. Nepo however is sensitive & respect to our time. He even took the time to acknowledge our Christmas card by calling us to thank you. Good man & caring individual. I highly recommend him!
