Dr. Edward Charles Perry, MD

Dr. Perry has been my surgeon since 2016. He's straight forward and doesn't sugar coat anything. He took my pain from over extreme to being able to walk again. Till this day I'd recommend him!

Dr. Perry was probably one of the best surgeons that I have ever seen. He is professional, considerate, extremely knowledgeable, and very direct. He does not sugarcoat anything. I have seen alot of surgeons in my forty years of spinal issues. My brother and I was very impressed with him. We were both in shock when he went over my options even though the bottom line was I'm screwed. I would recommend him to anyone that asks for spinal issues. Thank you for having at Swift Institute.

Dr. Perry didn't beat around about my options for fixing my herniated disc. He spoke very clearly about what surgery will be best for my back's future success. Waiting oit the process to get the approval for scheduling the surgery. The doc is friendly and caring.

Still working on my problem.Surgery scheduled. Two prior office appointments that were direct and to the point. Love that in a doctor.

Dr Perry is an excellent clinician - he listens to his patients and is very knowledgeable. He has an excellent cv and background in his training. Feel fortunate to be in his care.

First off like to say I’ve been coming to swift since the take over from spin nevada and everyone’s been wonderful ,BUT my first visit with Mr Perry after I left I felt like I was in the twilight zone . He’s not a good listener and he all but called me a liar for having hardware once removed in my low back .. he seemed to be all over the place and unfortunately I won’t be coming back to swift …

While Swift got me in quickly and the individuals that met me at the desk were professional and nice, Dr. Perry was not. He started the appointment in a nice fashion, until I explained that my pain was coming from my piriformis and he said "Oh! Piriformis! Look at you using that word!" Um, yes, after extensive orthopedic issues, I am confident using that word. Then he asked some questions and I said that I wanted to understand the pain from an "arthropological" level and he laughed and said "What does that even mean? That's not a word. I am a word guy, let's Google that." and literally Googled it in front of me during my appointment! He was correct; I had meant anthropological. Congratulations. I meant that I wanted to understand the root cause of my pain and not just take meds/PT/injections to mask the symptoms. On the way out of the exam room, he looked back over his shoulder and said "By the way, this is not a surgical intervention" as an afterthought. Then he proceeded to walk… away. I said to him, "Am I supposed to follow you?" and he said condescendingly, "Unless you know what to do next, then yes, follow me." Ultimately, I left humiliated and with many questions unanswered because he made me feel so inferior and uncomfortable and have no desire to go back. I could not get out of there fast enough.
