Dr. Edward Rydzak, MD

Saw Dr. Russia for many years and started having major issues with weightloss, bloating, gS, etc about 8hrs ago. He told me he did not know what was wrong with me. Then I eventually got better but about 4 months ago I almost passed out in my house, thought it was my heart. Wore a monitor for a month, they couldn't find anything wrong.Went in to see Dr. Rydzak for severe abdominal pain and I never got to see him but only his assistant who went out and talked to him. He refused to see me but went his assistant in to tell me that he was going to try me on another medication, and one of them was a physicatric med that would control the nerves in my stomach. Well, I had sent to the Dr prior to going to him and the doctor there stated that I had a lot of inflammation in my colon, and also mention something regarding colitis. When I told the assistant that, they stated it was the Dr doctors opinion. I was told I just had an colostomy 2 yrs prior and it showed nothing. Well I found me another… doctor and he did an endoscope and I texted positive for H. Pylori. Still dealing with issues in my colon but doing a lot better. I WILL NEVER, AND I REPEAT, NEVER use this doctor again. I was brushed off off like I was noone. I was the one who was suffering and not him so he did not care.I don't come to my appointments to be seen by his assistant but him. My new doctor is looking into the colitis issue in which Dr. Rydzak kept telling me for years it was IBS. Get a second opinion on anything he tells you because your health is important. Be your own health advocate and fight to live.

Dr. Rydzak has taken care of me for many years and is one of the most capable and compassionate doctors that I have known. He works with me, listens to me, and works with me. Ruben Bedwell

Dose not listen to the patient at all. Had gallbladder issuse and I mentioned it and he dismissed it.... 4 months later had to have it removed and now I has colitis flares lost 3 lbs in a week and he tiring to treat me for heart burn even though er showed test results showing colitis flare????

Dr. Rydzak is a caring, compassionate, knowledgeable physician. Highly recommend him for digestive health.

Beware, this office charges additional fees above what is required under contracted insurance rates. Dr. Ryzdak was ok- nothing impressive and very anxious to schedule a colonoscopy, which was unnecessary in my case. They are more interested in generating $$ than treating the patient.

fantastic experience overall. Nurses were friendly, informative and caring. The doctor described procedure well and I had no complications. I would highly recommend this doctor and his practice.

My first appointment started fine. The receptionist was wonderful. Then I meet the PA and everything takes a downward spiral. She was a middle-aged woman with glasses who seemed to hate people in general. When she took my story, she rolled her eyes and she would question me with doubt. She was condescending and rude. She told the doctor things I never said. Then Dr. Rydzak comes in. He sits in front of me and looks at the floor the whole time. He seemed very knowledgeable, but he is also cut and dry and accepting of any other possibilities. He insensitive and also condescending. He has a terrible bedside manner. I basically came out of there feeling doomed for life. Reluctantly, on my way out, I made my next appointment. The staff person made the appointment for 3 weeks later and gave me a reminder card. After 2 weeks, and thinking about my experience, I decided to cancel my appointment and find someone else. So I called and told them I'd like to cancel my appointment… (reading from the appointment card they gave me). They told me they never scheduled an appointment for me. I said I had the appointment card right here in my hand. They said...sorry. I said..."all the more reason to cancel." Looks like they dropped me before I dropped them. I think too many people in the medical profession don't realize that they are working for us. We are their customers. They are there on our dime, not the other way around.

The office staff is no help at all. They don't mind you waiting long times to see the doctor, but don't you be late or you are out the door and you can get another appointment in a month or two. The doctor then makes you wait it his office, and doesn't explain what is wrong or what needs to be done. I don't recommend this doctor or the office.
