The doctor was very complete in his explanation of the procedure and possible complications and risk. The doctor spent a lot of time with me explaining the procedure which I really appreciated.

2006 36 yo male diagnosed with a torn Anterior Mitral Valve with no explanation on how it happened. Referred to Dr Sako from Dr Miller in Port Arthur. Plan was to have pig valve but Dr Sako was able to repair after 6 hour surgery. Incredible staff and bedside manner.

Dr. Sako performed a double heart bypass on me one year ago and He did a great job. I am 62 years old and am in better health than I have ever been before. I am so gratefull that he is associated with the Audie Murphy VA hosp in San Antonio
