Dr. Edward Scott Salzberg, MD

I honestly won’t be seeing this doctor again. I love Roswell pediatrics but this was my first time seeing this particular doctor and it wasn’t a good experience. He didn’t even knock on the door before coming in, he just barged in. Then he barely talked to me. I will say he spoke kindly to my one year old but I felt like he didn’t check her appropriately. He didn’t listen to her lungs which I came in for her cough runny nose/drainage plus a fever. He got distracted while looking in her ears by his Apple Watch and when he looked down at the watch, he took out the otoscope however the plastic tip remained in my daughter’s ear. Which he didn’t even notice it remained until after he looked back up from his watch. He then looked back at me and smiled I feel like to see if I had noticed. He then “looked at her throat” but she barely opened her mouth and he didn’t use a tongue depressor like they usually do so I’m not sure what he possibly could have seen. It just felt all off and I didn’t… leave feeling at a peace about my daughter’s care.

He had no professionalism when treating my child. He came into the exam room, failed to speak to me or my toddler with a warm friendly welcome. Went straight to the computer and started typing. Did not ask what had been going on. I basically had to tell him the whole story without any questions from him. He did not check my son to his best ability I feel. He didn't do a full exam of his ears, did not look into his throat did not listen to his lungs in a timely manor. I do not recommend him at all and will not be taking my children to see him again. I love all of the Drs at Roswell Pediatrics but I will never see him again for treatment.

Began diagnosing my child with some other illness that wasn’t applicable without taking the time to prepare by reading our charting in entirety and seeing that it was a simply recheck visit. His bedside manner was very awkward and cold, which I found odd for a peds doctor. Also, I have never seen a doctor dig their tool into someone’s ears so hard as he did my infant. Could’ve been a bad day for him, but either way I won’t be open to scheduling under him again

Dr. Salzburg has always been great with my boys! He is funny and talks to them on their level with their interests. His advice and opinions are valued as well.

Do not see Dr Salzberg. He has no ability to care for children. He yells at us for following his directions, he embarrasses the children that come to see him. Please do not harm your children by letting him see them.
