Dr Santoian did a Heart Cath on June 28th. Cut an artery didn't try to fix it didn't let me know. I ended up in ER on Friday the 30th. Almost bled to death! Had to have 8 units of blood. Am still trying to feel better after 1 months.

Was scheduled for an angiogram, when he noticed no Follow up CT scan of brain in file.....when told I didn't have one, he ordered STAT CT......result showed I needed neurosurgery.......that was done instead of angiogram.....I will be forever gratefully for his interception.....he also continued to visit me as an inpatient to so how I was doing....sadly we don't see this dedication as often as I'd like !!!

He decided to do a very risky procedure on my mother, even though every tests for 2.5 days of testing, came out normal. I requested he wait until her PT/INR levels went down, but he would not. She had a major bleed after he did the angiogram. She passed out, blood pressure dropped to 65/50. Heart rate dropped to 44. All documented in medical chart. Was hospitalized 8 days. Then, got an infection in the hospital. Other doctors in the Unit were wonderful, but he made dangerous decisions in her treatment.
