Dr. Edward F Schlafly, MD

Very arrogant doctor that did not want to acknowledge my knee pain. His answer was that I "should be glad that he is not telling me I have bone cancer". Basically told me to deal with the pain and keep moving. I walked in his office in pain and walked out in pain. Useless.

I have been a patient of Dr Schlafly for many years. He is an excellent doctor and always listens to my concerns. I have consulted him in many orthopedic issues, mostly knees. He recently had me get an MRI for torn rotator cuff . Highly recommended him. Excellent doctor

The staff was rude when I arrived for my appointment. Did not greet me with a smile or a warm welcome. I waited for an hour to see the doctor. He did not apologize for my long wait or acknowledge my patience. I felt he did not spend quality time with me or dig deep to understand my concern with my knee pain. I would not return to his office nor would I recommend him to anyone else.

I was very disappointed with Dr. Schlafly. I had a 1:30 appointment and was not seen until 3:00 p.m. I was left in the examining room for 90 minutes. My time is just as vaulable as his. I thought the ladies that worked in his office were very nice but you would have thought after waiting a half hour someone would have come into the room and explained what was taking him so long. I guess his office double or triple book appointments. I was not "squeezed in" for the appointment. If I was, I could better understand the long wait. He knew the horrible pain I had in both my hips and right knee and would not give me anything for pain until I got my MRI. It's just a shame that a doctor would want you to be in such terrible pain.

HE HAS DONE ROTATOR CUFF SURGERY ON BOTH OF MY SHOULDERS, TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT ON 1 KNEE, AND I COULD'NT BE HAPPIER!!! I'VE WORKED IN HEALTH CARE FIELD ALL MY LIFE, BELIEVE ME I KNOW I'M A TERRIBLE PATIENT!!! YET HE NEVER LOST HIS PATIENCE WITH ME!! HE ALSO HAS WONDERFUL BEDSIDE MANNER!!! MY HUSBAND & ADULT DAUGHTER HAVE ALSO HAD SURGERY DONE BY HIM & FEEL THE SAME WAY. MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO SEND THIS. GOD BLESS YOU, DR. & THANK-YOU!!!!!

I found Dr. Schalfly very rude! He acted As if I/ my situation Was not important to him and I was wasting his time! After MRI Was completed he did not contact me for overA week, even though I called requesting resultsSeveral times! When he did call, he was condescending!Then when changing to a different DR, it was nextTo impossible to get my records!!Would not recommend him at all!
