Dr. Edward Samuel Traisman, MD

Absolutely exceptional doctor! He's been seeing my 3 children since they were born and I trust him explicitly! He is kind, has a great way with kids , explains everything well, and I feel he really cares.

Doctor Traisman is the best PED I have come to know. We started seeing him when our kid was 3 months old. He strongly suggested that we not do Cry It Out when most others PEDS push it on you. Guess what happened? Yep, she started sleeping through the night at 7.5 months on her own w/ a little drowsy but awaking placing. We never did CIO, I couldn't do it, the thought alone was very upsetting for me. Dr. Traisman was right, and I'm glad we never did it because it would have been horrible and completely unnecessary. He told us that we would be up with her at night for the rest of her life just like he is up for he 20 year old kids when they come in late at night. I think parents have unrealistic expectations for infant sleep. He told us that if they are up at night then they might be hungry or need their diaper changed. He has a very normal and gentle approach to infants and their sleep. He also listens well and takes enough time to talk to you. I never feel like he is hurrying. He is… also always in a fantastic mood, a genuinely happy guy. : )

I have been taking my kids to Dr. Traisman since they came home at adoption--16 years now. Both of them have special needs. Dr. Traisman has been a gift for us. I could not have imagined better pediatric support. He or an associate is always available. They are responsive, and most important, listen to mother's concerns. The office staff are dedicated and professional, organized and show a positive affect. Dr. Traisman has referred us to numerous colleagues who have supported his care. His billing is reasonable and the office works with our insurance. provider. Dr. Traisman's name was given to me by a colleague when my first was expected. I believe it was the greatest baby gift I got. We particularly like how he involves himself in training physicians and nurse practitioners. These young professionals will be badly needed, and they badly need people like Dr. Traisman to be their role models.
