Dr. Edward Wagner, MD

He told my husband that he had nothing to worry about. When other doctors disagreed with his diagnosis, he said they were wrong. All he did was order lab tests every 3 months. When my husband was seen by a doctor, who has Wagner's old professor, it was too late for him. GET A SECOND OPINION.

Put me on iron supplements for anemia that was due to folic acid. Ended up with toxic levels of iron for years. I’m back again due to being assigned to him and the office staff is incredibly rude and even qualified as nasty. So sad considering it’s oncology.

I think dr Wagner is great but lacks empathy... he is not extremely meticulous

Everyone has been so kind to me from my first call to the office. It did take a while to get my first appointment so I almost went a different Doctor. I'm glad that I waited because Dr. Wagner seems to be so up to date on the latest treatments and has been very encouraging to me and my family.

Dr. Wagner is kind and caring, although he is not extremely meticulous as I expected. There is a girl in the front desk whom I found to be very rude. I am considering changing oncologist just to not have to deal with the front desk uncaring and un-compassionate attitude.

I can not say enough about Dr. Wagner he saved my life and was always there to encourage me. His front office staff really cared about me and asked about me and my family and were very helpful with getting me authorization for tests etc. The nurses were helpful and kind only one of them seemed a little insincere but she is new so I'm hopeful she is just learning and may be a little overwhelmed. Great doctor and amazing people.

Dr. Edward Wagner is a compassionate Oncologist. He takes the time to explain things to you. His nurses & front office is very friendly & helpful.

Dr. Wagner lacks empathy...simple lacks basic courtesy.

Dr. Wager’s Compassionate Care Oncology really lives up to it’s name. He seems genuinely concerned about me as a whole patient rather than simply a collection of symptoms to treat. He took the time to carefully explain each of my many questions and put me at ease (which is tough to do). He’s also extraordinary when it comes to communication. After seeing a dozen other doctors in the last year, none has come close to Dr. Wagner. He has embraced the online patient portal. When I had a couple minor tests done, Dr. Wagner gave me the results the very next day. When I had blood work done, Dr. Wagner got in touch on the same day the results were reported and gave me a concise interpretation (before the lab would even release the results to me). Even when I emailed questions about another doctor’s treatment, Dr. Wagner helped me to understand and gave me clear, straightforward advice on the very same day. This kind of communication and empathy is what sets Dr. Wagner apart.
