Dr. Edward David Wright, MD

Rest assured if you see Dr. Wright, you are in the best of hands. Thorough and experienced, Dr. Wright takes his time going over every worry and concern - and not missing a thing with his special magnification glasses. He spends a long time inspecting your concerns- and his staff are warm and caring. Don’t be fooled by negative reviews all written by the same person. Dr. Wright is a consummate professional- I’m so relieved I found such an awesome doctor.

I saw the bad reviews after I had seen Dr. Wright and my partner and I couldn’t stop laughing. ‘Alleged Doctor’ um he went to MIT , ‘Dogs running all over the place that jump up on patients!’ um no dogs as far as the eye can see, ‘Rude nurses’ um well they were the kindest women you could ever meet. I think the bad reviewers were mixing him up with someone else and should go back home and take their medications. Doctor Wright is a thorough, professional, brilliant and kind man ( though he’s a little shy at first- not rude). He spent over an hour talking to us and I’d rather spend 5 minutes with this intellectual colossus that 2 hours with any other mediocre dermatologist. He’s truly amazing- and doesn’t miss a thing. I’m not easy to please- but this dermatologist is in another league and I would trust him with my life.

I went to Dr. Wright with trepidation after seeing the reviews here. My visit with him proved to be much different than the negative reviews. Dr. Wright was friendly and welcoming, asking questions to get to know me. He checked the places where I had concerns and explained in detail and layman’s terms what my conditions were. He then took time to give me a thorough check in other areas. All the while he informed me of precautionary actions I should be taking to protect against skin cancers. I left informed, cared for, and confident in Dr. Wright’s diagnosis.

Know who wrote those other reviews but Dr Wright. Mine was a complex problem. He spent a full hour and a half with me. Took pictures of my skin. He was not inpatient or condescending with . He was me very thorough and friendly. I thought he was one of the smartest doctors I've ever been to. He took the time to try to figure out the cause of my problem. I would recommend him to anyone. He gave me hope . I've been to Mayo Clinic numerous times without any real answers on how to treat my condition. He is determined to find answers for me. He is by far one of the best doctors I've ever been to. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond what I expected. Is wonderful man and an excellent Dr. I can't say enough good things about him.

I have many moles and a suspicious red spot on my nose. After waiting for 2 months to get an appointment with Dr Wright, seven minutes was all he could bother to spend with me. This included an incredibly rushed full body skin check and a very fast blow-off of the several questions that I had.

In my six decades on the earth plane I have never been so insulted, degraded and talked down to by any medical individual as by Dr. Edward David Wright. Far from courteous and wishing to assist the patient, Dr. Wright was contagiously abrasive. He started out by saying "You have 10 minutes(!)", looked at his watch abruptly, and then said "ticking away". I gave to him a printout of what I wished to cover, which he grabbed out my hand, pretended to read (in 10 seconds), threw down on a side table, and then said to me "What do you wish to have me look at." I was "shaking" within myself at his complete and utter non-professionalism. Each skin assessment I brought up he briskly rattled off about, not allow any time for the patient to take notes. No wonder all of his staff where always abrupt and 'conformational' when I made my appointment and later: they match Dr. Wright. Also, his two large dogs have the run of his office. One is a "jumper" leaping up onto patients. Neither… have been bathed nor groomed in months. Highly unsanitary. Definitely stay away from seeing Dr. Edward David Wright.
