Dr. Edwin Charles Huang, MD

I had an appointment to see Dr Huang. his assistant called to inform that he is rescheduling all his patients for that week. My appointment was booked weeks in advance for the week before Christmas and it sounded like he was no longer working that week. His assistant offered two options, with a take it or leave it tone, which were 8:30am or 4pm the prior week, which I had to decline due to school drop off and pick up. She then said I need to rebook which would be 6 months out. I don't know if this reflects his philosophy to patient care, or if it is just poor management by the hospital staff, Mt Auburn Hospital... They were also completely unhelpful in helping to obtain or review my records from MGH, were dismissive and said they do not work with other hospitals, all imaging and analysis has to be redone at Mt Auburn. Perhaps Ed Huang is a good doctor, I don't know. However with a staff like this, I do not wish to find out.

Dr. Huang is the best ob I have ever met. He almost saved my life.

Dr. Huang was my obgyn for my first born in 2011. And I feel fortunate that I chose him out of the list of MGH doctors on their website. 1. He has excellent bedside manner, and explains your options clearly so that you can make an educated decision.2. He is an excellent surgeon as well. Becaues of my complication, I had to have a scheduled c-section and he did the operation. It went smoothly and my wound healed very well. You will be in a very sure hands if you choose Dr. Huang.

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Huang! He was my OB for 3 pregnancies. He is so kind and caring as well as knowledgable. I had some minor complications but you'd never know he deals with major cases all the time. He treated my concerns like they were a big deal! He takes plenty of time to make sure you understand and I never ever felt rushed. Unfortunately the front desk staff treats you like an assembly line but it's well worth it to see this wonderful doctor.
