Dr. Numsuwan is a doctor of the highest order. Totally professional, but human!

I am telling you, as someone who (unfortunately at the tender age of 26), has seen top physiatrists for unrelenting neck pain ranging from NYU, Mt Sinai, Cornell, (was in NYC for college)- NUMSUWAN is the guy. Thorough to a FAULT. He will show you MRI images themselves and walk through them with you (if you want) and explain his thinking. He will try 'out of the box' treatments. He will read articles on your condition you send him beforehand (well, maybe not but he did for me). He was CHIEF of physiatry at Montefiore Hospital in NYC years and years ago. He is qualified TO A FAULT. And, equally importantly, kind with good bedside manner. Dr. Numsuwan will work to the bone to figure out what is going on. If he can't figure it out, he is part of MedStar Spine Center and will escalate to Ortho, Neuro, Interventional Procedures, etc. All on team. Choose him, and the wider Spine Center, and you won't regret it

I highly recommend Dr Numsuwan. He truly cares about his patients and listens. Never feel rushed or like he is distracted.

Dr numusuwan is one of the best drs I have seen! He listened to my issues, showed real concern in finding a diagnosis, very thorough and detailed in taking notes and ensuring that I understand you issue and the prognosis and modality of care! Very impressed by him and his knowledge!

I have been managing cervical and lumbar disc degeneration and pain for 33 years in Chicago and DC, so I have dealt with many providers: neuro and ortho surgeons, physical therapists, acupuncturists, masseuses, and spinal pain specialists. Dr. Numsuwan is the most rigorous, patient-educating of them all. He - and his MedStar colleague Dr. Faheem Sandhu, who replaced two of my cervical discs after 30 years of pain management - are real standouts in my book. Dr. Numsuwan's injections have been precise and effective, helping me stave off any more surgery for a long as possible.
