Great experience. The doctor explained everything about my condition. He was very exact and told me what should take place.

I am in neuro limbo at the moment, with some of the doctors I've seen telling me my symptoms are all in my head and others saying it's definitely neurological. Dr. Alam calmly sit with me and took the time to listen to my long history of medical visits I've recently had to endure and also look at my MRI'S and other tests results. He explained what his plans were for my symptoms and gave me his own personal opinion of what he thought I should also have done. With his help I've learned I have DDD with herniated discs and also carpal tunnel in both hands. I have also learned I have heel spurs to add to my list of health conditions. I finally know now that my symptoms are "real" and not in my head. I begin my spinal injections tomorrow to relieve some pain and numbness. Thanks to Dr. Alam

Very unprofessional. Thinks a shot cures everything. Does not like you to question his medical decisions. Can be rude at times. Doctors just do not care anymore. It's all about money now.

I had previously been to 3 other doctors with no true understanding of what my issues were until meeting with Dr. Alam last fall. He took the time to explain what was wrong, listen to what I was in need of- and was able to treat me within those paramaters. He is the first doctor to manipulate my spine so that I had no pain- and to treat my symptoms long term has devised a plan with how to manage my area of issue. What stands out to me the most about him is that he is not quick to prescribe conventional methods- such as pain medication or jumping to surgical options immediately. He wants to take the time to first understand what is wrong- and begin treatment with the least evasive means possible. I highly reccommend him to anyone in need of an orthapedic doctor.

i guess the unhappy patient was a chronic pain patient. since he does not give pain meds, these kind of patients do not like him. i liked him a lot from the very first visit and his injections have worked miracle for my pain. Also his bed side manners are better than most doctors i have seen. he is very good in diagnosis. i have been his patient since last 9 months and give him 5/5 rating. his scheduler is also very nice (a little hyper perhaps).
