Didn’t seem interested in me as a person, just seemed to document information in the chart. Time for her to move on

I was very pleased with my initial visit with Dr. Carpenter. She was very competent and caring and spent time with me which I appreciated. She did not rush through the visit.

Really unhappy. Gave her two appointments and not giving her a third. Kept putting words in my mouth the first appointment and speculating on my life instead of listening. She told me to come back in a month without addressing why I was there. Came back and she immediately prescribed me medication without even asking me how my day is going let alone talking about my life. She was very upsetting and tried to prescribe me a script for depression as I was walking out of the office. I waited 40 minutes for her for an early AM appointment. I’m now making my third appointment this month at a different practice to get another opinion from someone who might listen to me.

She'll write diagnosis incorrectly as your telling it to her. Dr. Carpenter will tell you how severe your condition is without asking you. I have normal blood pressure and I take no medicine for it at my age, but she wanted me to come back in 6 months to be sure. Who has time to run back and forth for such nonsense. She will run you up a big medical bill. I told her I have a dairy allergy and she suggest I eat eggs and dairy, really? She told me I might be malnourished because I'm a vegan(I'm not). She's use to see overweight women of color, so when she gets one at my age, I'm on deaths door according to her. She doesn't know what malnourished people look like. She screwed my medical history, which became a nuisance and problem for my pre-op surgery.

I didn't feel cared about when I left my visit. I felt that I was looked at as being a nuisance.
