I did not feel very comfortable with Dr. Whitten. She was not personable at the beginning of the appointment, and gave off the vibe that she was annoyed during my Pap test when I had moments of tensing up. This was my first appointment with her, and only my second Pap test ever, so I was still a bit reserved and nervous. I will not be returning to this provider in the future.

Nurse explained exactly how the entire exam would go. Dr was through, talked with me and explained not only the visit but also answered all my questions..making sure I understood and that I had no more questions. Very nice!!!

My first visit with her and she didn’t knock or acknowledge she was entering room, nor did she introduce herself . Spoke very fast . At end of appt, left me laying there with stirrups still up and no offer of help to get up and she left the room. Poor bedside manner.

Dr. Witten spent time with me when I need it. She also will call you back personally if you have a question.

Terrible bedside manner. None of my issues addressed. I felt ignored and violated afterwards. Awful.

After years of painful experiences with OB-GYN visits I started seeing Dr. Burrows who diagnosed me with vaginismus and vulvodynia. She recommended that I start seeing Dr. Witten for regular OB-GYN check-ups and I'm so glad I switched! Dr. Witten addresses my fears and concerns for painful check-ups, goes out of her way to use a better fitting speculum which results in a pain-free appointment! Something I never experienced before seeing her! She is also great about taking the time to answer any questions you may have. And for things outside of her specialty... she doesn't try to make up answers like some other doctors do... instead she suggests someone in that field that can better answer your questions. And... no more two hour waits to see the doctor! She is very prompt. She is the best OB-GYN I've ever seen!
