Dr. Elaine Cheng, MD

Dr. Cheng is a very talented and dedicated surgeon. She has repaired my two hernias and removed my gallbladder. It might be stretching it a bit to say that I look forward to working with her, but I definitely feel so much better after her excellent medical care. She patiently answers all of my questions and never makes me feel rushed. She is an amazing doctor and I highly recommend going to her if you need any general surgery.

I can’t believe how fast i’ve healed, Dr Cheng said I would be up and about right after recovery room and that the day after that I would be a little sore, it’s now four days after surgery and I can’t believe how I have little soreness , everything she said was true, thank you Dr Cheng

Recently I had to have incisional hernia surgery. My family doctor recommended that I see Dr. Elaine Cheng. I don't think I have ever received such excellent care. Dr. Cheng has a phenomenal bedside manner. When I first met her, she put me at ease by carefully explaining my options and taking all the time I needed to ask questions. I set up a date for surgery with her as the doctor right there. The day of surgery began stress fully for me, they could not find a vein to insert the IV. She came and held my hand! Her bedside manner is important, but after surgery I can say that she is also a very talented surgeon. I have had more than 20 surgeries and have had a lot of experience with the medical field. The first night home, I had some bleeding that concerned me. I called her office and she called me back within 5 minutes. She explained why she wasn't overly concerned and assured that if I had more to call back. I did not. I had very little pain. I thought I had a urinary tract infection,… and her office invited me to come in the next day without any problem. Her staff is very friendly and professional. Amber, a nurse went out of her way to get test results for me right away. I highly recommend Dr. Elaine Cheng.
