Dr. Elaine Carol Macdougall, MD

Dr. MacDougall has been my Physician for over sixteen years. She treats our entire family, including our children. She is attentive, responsive and genuinely cares for us, as patients. I wouldn’t take my children to anyone else. I can’t say enough good things about her, her bedside manner, demeanor and care. She spends time getting to know us and understands our medical needs. She treats all of us appropriately and never over or under treats. Dr. MacDougall Is one of Winchester’s best!

After my previous doctor retired, I found Selma. They scheduled me with Dr MacDougall. She was extremely rude and judgmental. She refused to listen.

I have been seeing her for years, and I feel like she knows my history and cares about my concerns.

Appears very stoic. Geromophobic, this can be good I guess. She doesn't shake hands. After a while she does warm up a little. Over all a good physican.

I feel confident with Dr. MacIsaac. She always takes time to listen to any problems I am experiencing and is right on the money with her diagnosis and treatments. She orders tests she feels are needed (a lot of doctors don't) and somehow correctly discerns what is important vs. what isn't. The whole family goes to her and loves her.

I saw Dr. Macisaac, Found her to be extremely controlling and rude. Hard to put your life in her hands. I fired her as my doctor, She continued to harass me going as far as sending me a registered letter telling me I could not see any of the Doctor's., at Selma. WOW !!!! For the well being of her patients, Selma should take action.

My sister went to Dr. MacIsaac for knee and leg pain. The doctor was INCREDIBLY rude to her. She told my sister (who is 46) that she was just old and fat. She is overweight, but that was unprofessional. Actually, my sister was diagnosed with MS and the pain is from that. This "doctor" should not be allowed to practice medicine.

My father recently visited "Dr." Macisaac. Never again. After losing 30lbs and undergoing numerous GI tests, no one could diagnose what was causing the weight loss, nausea, emesis, hives...My dad found information online about a tick that can cause a red meat/pork allergy through enzymes secreted during a bite. She REFUSED to look at his paperwork and told him she didnt have time for this. He did refuse his barium swallow per my advice (I am an RN), and received a certified letter from "Dr" Macisaac banning him from all facilities she is associated with. Nice lady. My dad has since diagnosed himself and had gained back 10lbs, making a fantastic recovery. Shame on you "Dr" Macisaac!

She was a wonderful doctor and I've now made her my family practitioner
