Dr. Elan Salzhauer, MD

1. Husband had been in considerable pain, tried flushing it and chose to wait because of a scheduled appointment. 2. After arriving at office, dealing with construction at handicapped entrance, and waiting about 10 minutes, we were told they didn't have the catheter size and could not do a catheter change. 3. We told them how much pain he was in and they said the catheter should come tomorrow and they would call us. 4. We got the call Thursday to come in for the catheter change. However, my husband had to go to the Emergency Department on Wednesday with a very bad Urinary Tract Infection. He had to go by ambulance because of his weakened condition, pain, confusion, etc. My husband and I feel that the office showed little care or concern with regard to my husband's health. . . and this is only one instance as I could list more. If the office had done a urine sample while he was there, perhaps things would not have been so critical and I would not be writing this review.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The doctor put my mind at ease and quickly took care of my problem. he had an excellent bedside manner. I was very satisfied.

I have never had a physician spend the amount of time with meas Dr. Salzhauer. Both he and his staff are able to comfort you even with the hardest of news. He has a very good bed side manner and cares about his patients. Elan Salzhauer is a great physician and I would recommend him to anyone.

THIS IS THE BEST DOCTOR ANYONE COULD EVER HAVE. HE IS VERY METICULOUS AND KNOWS HIS FIELD VERY WELL. I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER DOCTOR WHEN I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH KIDNEY CANCER HE DID EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO TAKE IT OUT IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. I WILL ALWAYS BE BEHOLDING TO HIM FOR THIS CARE. IT WASN'T AS SCARRY AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN WITH HIS HELP.

I was diagnosed with a kidney tumor and was understandably very scared. Dr. Salzhauer was with me every step of the way. His confidence and expertise helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I am forever grateful for his skill and caring.

I had been to several urologists in my day. I've had kidney issues since infancy. In my college years, began developing stones. Had a stone incident over the summer and was fortunate to get on Dr. Salzhauer's schedule. Loved him immediately. Got me in for a scan, followed up immediately, came up with well thought out plan and explained every step of the way what was (will) happen. If I could have hugged him, I would have. I thanked him many times for taking so much time with me. His response was always "my pleasure". But, really outstanding Dr. Thank You Dr. Salzhauer!

I would not go to this doctor again. He had very poor patient/doctor communication.

I was refered to Dr Salzhauer by my PCP to say the least, the closest opointment was 90 days latter. When seen by Dr Salzhauer he was in and out of room in under 3 mins. There was know time for questions, what should I be doing? But, I was more concerned about a very poor/ cold bedside manor.
