she delivered my son 19 yrs ago and did an excellent job. I had to be induced, my son was extremely large 10 lbs and I was single at the time, alone, she was there for me and my son stayed straight thru from the evening until the next morning when she delivered him, guess what she saved his life he had the cord around his neck and had oxygen deprivation. she let my oldest daughter come into to the delivery room and my neighbor and I delivered my son. although with all the tests that they preform on children while pregnant all tests came back he was healthy today he is autistic, mildly retarded with major psychological illnesses. not the drs fault. everyone with a child that has special needs it is a challenge it comes with a lot of ups and downs but these kids are great full of love, hope my son is graduating from auto mechanics and I wouldn't have traded him in my life is full of challenges that keep you young. anyway this is a excellent doctor, excellent hospital, excellent place to… go. had 2 other children with winthropf contemporary care, sending my oldest daughter whom is trying to conceive to them.

I like the doctor in every area except the wait time is out of control. What makes it even worst is no one says anything...its like this big elephant in the room and no one apologizes for you waiting over an hour for her to show up. The last time was one hour and 15mins, the time before 45mins. I guess I really take issue with doctors thinking their time is the only valuable time.

Take your underage teenage daughter for "supposed period" problems.You are promptly discharged from the room.You are now legally required to pay her birth control till she is 18.No other parental information or consent is required.I am all for reproductive rights. This doctors sucks.

For my first prenatal visit my husband waited in a room for our 45 minutes before she came in, than she left and we waited again, than she examined me and than left again for over another 45 minutes we were in the office for over 2 hours mainly waiting for her. Than we received some test results of good news nothing is wrong. Than a week later she finally appreantly looked at my results and found an issue with some tests. So here I am thinking nothing can be wrong and I was an idiot for thinking that. Like its not stressful enough having a baby these days. Her office conatantly has the incorrect times for my appoints from when we set them up. The best is an automated system calls you after there hours to confirm your appointm sp if you want to reschedule you have to wait until the offfice is open on the following day. Honestly, where are the nurses and office staff, they should be making these calls. The other fustrating thing is you have to keep going to Mineola for everything.… If I wanted a dr. In Mineola I would have picked a dr. In Mineola. Highly don't recommend her or anyone in her practice. Very uncomfortable experience with her. New Obgyn here I come! Mom-To-Be Beware!

Dr. Kastner is an excellent doctor. She is extremely competent and takes the time to listen to your concerns. I highly recommend her!

I found Doctor Kastner about 2 years ago and she has been terrific. She is intelligent, honest, and speaks to you as a partner in your own healthcare. The office staff is also very good. I would recommend her highly.
