It was an absolute pleasure being a patient of Dr Kuo’s. I was told by my PCP to see a thoracic surgeon for an intramuscular lipoma in the pectoral minor. Knowing I would need additional specialization of a microvascular plastic surgeon, he immediately reached out to a colleague and the two of them coordinated a surgical date and procedure. It was a pleasant, professional and actually relaxed experience working with the two of them to get the procedure done. I highly recommend Dr Kuo for anyone needing his thoracic skills!

I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and met with Dr Kuo after he had discussions with the tumor board at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, AZ. Dr Kuo fully explained my condition and mapped out my journey including Chemo, Radiation and surgery. I had J-tube placement and began my treatment. After treatment onAugust 5, Dr Kuo successfully performed esophagectomy surgery. His follow up was excellent and fully explained what I went through and gave me a five page report, I fully recommend Dr. Kuo. He is excellent.

Dr. Kuo in my opinion is an excellent doctor, very professional, knowledgeable, very easy to connect when dealing with health issues. He was very detailed in all the studies required prior to deciding on surgery, crossed all t’s and dotted i’s. He explained in detail how the surgery would be performed. Everything went so well, I really trust Dr. Kuo and his team, everyone so kind and efficient.

Dr. Kuo takes the time to not only explain my condition, but also makes explanatory notes and drawings which further clarifies in detail all that he discusses and then gives it to me for my reference! He treats me as though I am the only patient of the day..no rush and when I leave my appointment, I feel reassured that all treatment that can be done is being done. Can't ask for more.

Experienced fall resulting in seven broken ribs. Dr.Kuo and his team scheduled surgery following day: excellent procedure, very personable including team in his office, and was able to transfer to rehab day following surgery. Little pain with meds. Highly recommend Dr. Kuo - in "good hands".

Had an Upper GI Endoscopy and High Resolution Eophasgeal Motility study performed. Procedures with Banner and Dr. Elbert Kuo were great. However, the follow up appointment a week later was exceptional. Unlike most doctors, Dr. Kuo quickly and efficiently explained my results in terms I could understand. Basically gave me a good, quick education about my issues. He laid out all possible treatments even though not recommended for me at this point in time. i was very happy with the full detailed analysis of my condition with changes I can make personally considering my condition. I was very happy as my previous similar doctors kind of left me in the dark about everything. KUDOS to Dr. Kuo.
