Dr. Elena Gogoneata, MD

Been seeing her since 2007 for my RA. She is understanding, knowledgeable and compassionate. I’m glad I found her!

UNETHICAL,INCOMPETENT, and IRRESPONSIBLE !!! *THIS 'SO-CALLED' DR. TOOK THE ROLE OF MY ONLY PAIN MANAGEMENT FOR WELL OVER TWO YEARS and ABRUPTLY STOPPED PRESCRIBING MY MUCH NEEDED PAIN MEDS WITHOUT FOLLOWING PHYSICIAN PROTOCOL OF PROVIDING ME ADEQUATE NOTICE AND CONTINUED CARE UNTIL I COULD ESTABLISH A NEW DR. FOR MY SEVERE PAIN AND DISABLING CONDITIONS. SHE BLATENLY IGNORED ALL OF MY URGENT MESSAGES TO FILL MY MONTHLY PAIN MEDS THAT I AM DEPENDANT UPON FOR BASIC FUNCTION & MOBILITY, & REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE & TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY 'ON GOING' CARE. SHE PUT MY WELLBEING AT RISK, WITH AN ABRUPT, UNETHICAL, & DANGEROUS HALT OF MY MEDS, INCREASING MY PAIN, SUFFERING, STRESS, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, AND WITHDRAWAL, WHILE TAKING AWAY MY BASIC FUNCION, MOBILITY, & LIMITED 'QUALITY OF LIFE' BY DROPPING THE FLOOR OUT FROM UNDER MY CARE, BLATENLY NEGLECTING MY CARE, OUTRIGHT ABANDONING AN ESTABLISHED PATIENT, DIRECTLY PUTTING ME IN HARMS WAY, LEAVING ME TO FEND FOR MYSELF, WHILE PANDEMIC… HIT...

Very cold and not friendly at all. Left there not knowing no more than I knew before appt. Told me to go back to my PCP for blood work because her person who normally draw blood was not in that day. Did offer a followup appt or anything. I will not ever set my feet in her office again.

THE MOST IMPORTANT FOR ME IS HOW MUCH TIME SHE SPENDS WITH HER PATIENT'S. ANSWERS ALL QUESTIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

When discussing lab results, Seemed like dr was regurgitating info learned in med school, not looking at "big picture" of everything in file...just going off lab results and too quick to dish out medicine. Very 'book' knowledgeable, but didn't have good feeling about accuracy of diagnosis. Hesitant to take the medicine. Going to GP for consultation and examination of lab results in relation to current medicine and medical conditions. Always wait at least 30-40 min. Not too 'personable'--very 'matter of fact'--she could smile a bit! Seems more interested in telling what lab results means than in how I'm doing. Has difficulty rephrasing and explaining...

I have been to several dr since Ive moved and I finally found one that I love!

Excellent doctor. She knows her stuff.

I have been living with RA since I was diagnosed as a child. I'm currently 36 years old and am glad I began seeing Dr. Gogoneata. The Rituxan infusions have been a god send for me. I have pretty advanced RA and can experience up to 8 months of arthritis free living with my current treatment plan.

She is a good doctor

She has been treating me for over a year and she is very understanding and caring.
