Dr. Elena Vladimirovna Pimanova, MD

Wonderful, caring doctor. She's no-nonsense, she gets to the point and is very empathetic. If all doctors would treat their patients like she does, we would find the healing we are looking for. Thank you Dr. Pimanova!

Dr. Pimanova has been one of the best doctors I have ever had. The first day that she saw me, she established that I had both pneumonia and diabetes! We had just moved and I had been treated twice unsuccessfully for bronchitis which had turned into pneumonia at a quick care facility. They actually sent me to Dr. Pimonova and I absolutely loved her no nonsense, get to the root of the problem manner! I am so much healthier with her as my doctor than I have been in decades! I am a speech/language pathologist and I appreciate excellent communication. I would highly recommend Dr. Pimanova!

Although Dr. Pimanova seems to be knowledgeable and a good listener, she managed to make me feel extremely uncomfortable. This was my first appointment with Dr. Pimanova. I was there because of upper abdominal and side pain. She took a thorough medical history, and quickly ordered tests for my side pain. What managed to make me uncomfortable was her clear insistance to perform a Pap smear and breast exam on me that same day. I tried to explain to her that I really just wanted to address my pain, but she again insisted on the importance of these exams. I felt extremely violated and helpless because I was not given the choice to refuse or do this a different day. While she did my breast exam, she did not try to preserve my modesty and instead left me topless on the table while she conducted her "exam". I would NOT recommend this doctor for young women. After this incident and a similar incident with a male nurse, I am no longer able to trust most health professionals.
