Dr. Elena I Raspin, MD

Dr Raspin treated me while I was admitted into the hospital. She was an excellent physician who advocated all the care I received. She is very devoted to her patients and their treatments. I wish she had office hours outside the hospital for follow-up care.

Dr. Raspin treated my husband as an inpatient at Morristown Hospital for 8 days. She is a very devoted and caring physician. She explained everything that was going on with his health everyday including giving us all the test results and informing us of all the decisions that were being made by all the other physicians. Her professionalism and dedication is outstanding. Thank you Dr. Raspin for helping us get through a very difficult time.

First Dr. Raspin neglected to administer my mother her prescribed Hydroxy Eurea used to treat her Polycythemia Vera (blood disease). The risk of not taking this medicine is brain stroke, blood clots etc. I had to call mom's hematologist to intervene to get her back on the meds (I think she missed three days). I noticed she was not eating and it was not being recorded. Full trays of food delivered and returned untouched. I had to intervene on that. Then the Dr. Raspin wanted to discharge mom to rehab on 12/7 with full blown C Diff. Her main focus was that she was not working that weekend so needed to get it done. When I questioned how risky it would be to the facility members because it's highly contagious, her response was that mom could wear the same gloves and gown I had own as protection. I'm sorry but I was tripping over the gown, how is my frail, high fall risk mother supposed to get back on her feet like this. Then I noticed her left arm was swollen like a balloon and her… hands were blue. I flag this concern as well. She dismissed it as a reaction to the IV. They did an ultrasound and BLOOD CLOT!!!! Gross neglect and incompetence is the only thing consistent about this doctor. If I had not been there to advocate, a nursing facility would be infected and mom could be dead. Dr. Raspin missed all of it. I requested she not be permitted to treat my mother and that a new doctor be assigned.

Dr Elena s Raspin is a very good Doctor,she takes great interest in her patiences. I remember visiting her with a high fewer and she gave me two tylenol and a prescription to fill. shortly after she call me just to check to see if my fewer was gone and how I was feeling.At this moment I and trying to find where she as relocated.I will not see anyone but Dr Raspin.
