Dr. Elena Marie Shephard, MD

Elena Shephard, MD, MPH, is an attending physician in the Seattle Children’s Hospital Emergency Department and is an Assistant Professor in the University of Washington School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and earned her MPH from the University of Washington.

She completed residency at the University of Wisconsin, and a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington. She is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics, and also holds certifications in the American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program, the AMA Advanced Disaster Life Support, and is a PALS provider. Shephard is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Washington State Medical Association.
