My children LOVE Dr. Slater. She is very caring and warm. She takes her time with your child - especially newborns. She is very experienced and diagnosed an impairment in my child that another pediatrician overlooked. I would recommend her highly.

My child has followed Dr. Slater through several practices.She always takes the time to listen to both the child and the patient.She does not jump to conclusions and will always give you all the options of treatment.Yes, her current office is in need of a renovation, but she shows empathy and always respects the child. When I was a new mother, 20 years ago, she was a calming influence and gave me the confidence to relax and trust my instincts.

Went to see Dr Slater once in 2004 when we were new in town on the recommendation of an acquaintance. Her office was dark and smelled of mildew; she treated us brusquely; the diagnosis was incorrect. Needless to say, we never returned.
