Dr Elena Tunitsky-Bitton, MD

Does not have a time to listen and not even understand my concern very indifferent person her medical knowledge is a question

I saw Dr. Tunitsky in 2019 and was asked by her if I was "one of those women suing over mesh". She said, "It is because of women like you, that I am down to only three mesh comapnies that I can use." She was disdainful, rude, arrogant and dismisive. I got under two grand in my settlement because the judge turned it into a class action suit. It ruined my life, my marital relations, my career and all I got was ridicule from this woman who I went to for help.

I had the utmost confidence in Dr. Tunitsky until the day after my surgery. What was explained as a routine vaginal hysterectomy, turned into 3 additional surgeries; 2 life threatening. Each surgery was to repair a mistake in the previous. After being in the hospital for two weeks (it was supposed to be 1 day) Dr. Tunitsky told me that one day I would look back and laugh at this. I only hope and pray that she learned something from my ordeal and that others do not have to suffer as I did with months of rehabilitation, pain, career changes, depression, and isolation.

This was my first visit with Dr. Tunitsky-Bitton. I found the staff to be very professional and courteous. Most importantly, I found Dr. Tunitsky to be very approachable with an excellent bedside manner. She was able to answer all my questions and I was most pleased with the plan of action prescribed for me. I could not have been more pleased with this visit.
