I have been a patient of Dr. Finklestein’s for several years and I find him to be kind, interested in my issues and available to provide necessary treatment. His entire team is the absolute best and everyone is focused on finding relief for the back pain I experienced.

If you like getting right to the point, getting a good explanation of your diagnosis and a clear plan for what he's going to do about it, you will like Dr. Finkelstein. I highly recommend him.

He was in a rush when he saw me because he was running behind. He was very short and kind of rude almost. I had X-rays done and he didn’t even go over those with me. Told me I had degenerative joint disease and barely discussed that with me!

When I am in pain and need to be seen Dr. Eli has took care of me twice. Grateful

Excellent Dr. & explains injury as well as treatment plans well

I saw DR Finkelstein for back pain of 2 years duration. I must say that after reading all the bad reviews I was a bit uneasy about seeing him in consultation. After spending over 1 hour with him,doing an extensive history and a thorough examination I really don't understand how he got any negative comment. He has everything you need to be an excellent physician: Excellent knowledge, great diagnostic skills, caring, totally devoted to listening to his patient and with an excellent bedside manner. He explained everything very clearly and in details and made sure I understood it all. He is the first physician I saw who diagnose my problem right away. I would give him 6 stars if I could. It is with the utmost confidence that I recommend him very highly. I am a retired Plastic Surgeon and my wife a retired dermatologist and we were both most impressed by him.

Refused to provide treatment for pinched nerve in by back because I had had recent treatment for a different pinched nerve in my neck. Doesn't care that I am in extreme pain. Can never speak directly to him or his Medical assistant. Have to leave multiple messages on voicemail and you're lucky to get a call back 2 days later.

He is the worst doctor I ever seen His PA was way better than him. I have seen him for MRI Followup, had to wait an hour to see him then comes in with some one he is training busy explain to her how it is done then to explain me about the MRI. he did not explain anything about the MRI report instead trying to sell steroid and referring to Surgeon for referral fees. He left without answering my questions and never come back even thought I requested the front desk that I need answers to my questions. Go to a different and stay away from this doctor all he gonna do is order MRI and then Steroid injections. All about money and not helping the patients.

He didn't listen to me, looked at x-ray and said "There isn't anything physically wrong with you, you don't need to take any medications, but we can do PT here if you want." I asked for an MRI since you can only see bones on an xray. He said no, not needed. I declined PT not wanting to make it worse without an MRI 1st. This had been going on for a long time.The pain was intense. He just didn't believe me, and gave me less than 5 minutes of his time. I finally to a different doc, in completely different group. Turns out I had a bulging disc and a pinched nerve in my neck. Yep! A REAL CONDITION, REAL PAIN. Shame on you Dr. Finklestein. Start listening to your patients.
