Spinal fusion on lower back. This Dr. Is an angel. My life was renewed. No pain now. It’s been 5 months.

This Doctor He is very rude in a big rush, Doesn't listen to much of what the patients want's to explain to him. He keep's walking when your talking to him and make hand jesters. I never want to go back to him ever again. In my opinion he need's to retire already. I just hate rude Doctors!

I was referred to Dr. Shepherd by two (2) creditable doctors due to bulging disks, spinal stenosis, curvature of the spine, degenerative disk disease, osteo arhtritis and severe lumbar nerve root disroder which was reviewed and proven on xrays and MRIs by four other doctors prior to seeing Dr. Shepherd. The pain is so bad that I have been "disabled" and am at the point I can't walk, sit or sleep. It took months to get into to see him and when I did, I had never in my life experienced such a "rude" and "demeaning" physcian. He basically told me my problems were due to smoking and that the pain was all in my head. He never even touched or looked at my back at all! After my MRIs were reviewed by another "creditable" back surgeon, I was told to report him for malpractice. This is not someone you want to see if you really have back problems. I give NO stars as this was such a "demeaningful" experience!

My spine was a mess,much pain. Dr. Shepard fused five vertibrea and I have NO limitations! Surgery was three years ago.

Excellent doctor. compassionate and skilled I would recommend him to friends and family.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Shepherd. After visiting several doctors who did nothing for my pain except relieve it temporarily I visited Dr. Sheperd. He gave me a complete solution to my pain, not a temporary fix. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

He operated three times on the same disc in my back. I had three diskectomies on my L5-S1 disc. He did not have any shame and wanted to operate again on the same disc. I reminded him of three past surgeries. He said are you sure I operated on you? He said your last surgeon was the worse Doctor. He should not have operated on you in first place, Please stop manipulating people,,,,,

All Doctor Shepherd cares about is his money. After surgery I had absolutely no instructions for post-op care, no limitations, and no physical therapy set up. He was rude, cruel, and demeaning. I am now facing a second spinal fusion because he messed up the first one so badly! Run, run, run away!
