Another colorectal doctor had done a hemorrhoidectomy on me and after 4 months I was still in severe pain and living a nightmare. Dr. Schochet was incredibly thorough and very consistent in his advice and guidance through several visits. I was literally seeing 4 other experienced Doctors simultaneously given situation I was in but finally decided to perform my 2nd surgery with Schochet at month 5 post original operation. I left that second operation with ZERO pain (couldn't believe it) and fully recovered within 3 weeks after my operation with Schochet. My nightmare was finally over. I would highly recommend Dr. Schochet. I was literally seeing 5 of the top specialist in Miami for Colorectal an he by far was the best. He is highly knowledgeable, highly experienced, very caring, very direct & transparent and highly skilled. Couldn't ask for a better colorectal doctor.

If you are in need of a colorectal surgeon, look no further! Dr. Schochet is a board certified specialist who is tops in his field. I recently had THD hemorrhoid surgery with no complications. I was anticipating some post op discomfort but there was none. Following Dr. Schochet’s pre and post op instructions helped immensely. I highly recommend this caring and knowledgeable physician.

I consider myself very fortunate to be healthy and alive due to his keen clinical observation and highly effective interventions as a top-notch provider. Dr Schochet displays genuine compassion, respect, and dignity to his patients and he is also a wonderful human being. In addition, he has a great sense of humor which is healing as well !!

had hernia repair; hernia came back three times larger within months of the operation!

Worse experience ever from a doctor. had simple Hemorrhoid surgery an ended up up with massive infection after he lift some sort of tape of galls inside . Then after three calls to get back in the office and taking my own antibiotics he tested me for herpes without telling me and told me three times to make sure I called him on Monday no matter how I was even though I had an appt. on Wed. called back twice on Monday and received no call back from him . No herpes no way out but before I went in I researched the antibiotics and new what he had done but I played dumb till he told me what he had done. Also they never update my medication list that I brought into the office on first visit a month and a half before surgery and this was three weeks after surgery when I wanted to update my medication list after seeing my heart doctor. Got a new Doctor and That is my opinion

I had HPV warts and he first applied acid which made it worse and they grew even more. Then he performed surgery to remove them and he missed a wart and they grew back. After all of this he told me there was a cream available to make the warts go away. Every time I saw him I asked him about Apple cider vinegar and he said there is NO PROOF that it works and he didn't recommend it. So I didn't try until I was tired of all of it and within 1 week the warts were gone. He is untrustworthy
