This group portrays itself as a caring, non profit family oriented practice that is in existence to help children. The reality is they are 70% Funded by Connecticut DCF. In their intake protocol they asked by six year old daughter a series of leading questions. When my daughter told the doctor she has once taken a bath with her 8 year old cousin, they immediately reported this innocent and normal occurance to DCF as an instance of "sexual abuse". DCF almost immediately decided it was unsubstantiated but in the period prior to their finding the incompetent therapists overzealous report caused our two families great harm. Stay away from this DCF shill practice. They are a state funded practice that attempts to portray themselves as a benevolent, charity type practice. Your child has no privacy here and every word a child says no matter how far fetched or fantastical it might be Eli's subject to DCF reporting with this group.
