Dr. Eliot Moon, MD

This is unfortunate because I had a great experience with DR Moon, but the staff is rude, unprofessional and provide horrible customer service. Mainly their manager Carrie. Every single time my prescription is supposed to be ready, I have to jump through hoops to get my medication. My pharmacy blames the staff at Elliot Moon, the staff their blame Medi-Cal, and I’m stuck in the middle. But every time I’ve spoken to Carrie, she has been very impatient, rude and the first time I spoke with her she purposely hung up on me. She lied and said the phone disconnected, and I gave her the benifet of the doub, but the next month when they failed to resubmit my prescription again, and I had to call and wait several days again, and finally Carrie answered and she is rude from the beginning and getting upset with me when I’ve done nothing wrong, they dropped the ball not me, and mid sentence she hangs up on my face again! She tried to “blame” it on the phone lines again, but I knew it was… intentional at that point. After that second hang yo I asked to be able to reach out to Dr Moon and she refused and hung up again. It’s like she gets upset when people need assistance that requires her to actually do her job. Today was the last straw. I was going to tell Dr Moon when I saw him next week, but now it’s the 4th month in a row when my prescription isn’t ready in time. AGAIN. And this time she hung up on me again! I’m done. I have never raised my voice or said anything disrespectful, Carrie is just extremely rude and the second she feels like it, she’ll just hang up on you with no regard. As a result of her unethical and unprofessional behavior and horrible customer service, I am no longer going to be seeing Dr Moon and it’s because of the poor lack of customer service and unprofessionalism by Carrie who clearly has no problem with treating customers disrespectfully probably because she’s done it all the time and knows that no one will do anything about it. But I refuse to be treated like that so I am done.

I saw Dr Moon years ago for professional psychiatry help and he and his staff were patient, compassionate, professional, and caring. He helped me at a time of need. Now my mom is in need of psychological care, and I am referring her to Dr. Moon. I have seen many professionals in this field, and he provides excellent care to his patients.

Staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Moon gives the necessary time to talk to his patients. Best doctor I’ve ever seen.

Dr. Moon and his staff are professional and friendly. He has a great bed-side manner. He has been able to accurately diagnose my condition by spending time with me. I've never seen a caring psychiatrist like this before and I am lucky to have an expert in ADHD so close to home.

If you are fortunate enough to have Dr. Moon, you can trust him completely. He is very intuitive, calm and proactive. He is never pushy. He has been my doctor for 9 years. I would never consider anyone else. His instincts have always been spot on and he's gotton me out of a lot of tough situations. I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Moon. Only drawback is scheduling appointments can be difficult.

OUr area is really short of psychiatrists. I waited 2 months for an appointment and almost didn't go. But my doctor and another friend recommended him highly. He really listened and really took the time to explain my problems. He followed up within 2 weeks and his staff is awesome. His front office Carrie is the best. She really listens and cares and remembers all my medications and my kids names. I know they have thousands of patients. She helped me get my medications, get the best rate for them, filled out insurance forms, helped me get authorizations. She and Doctor Moon have really changed my life. I am working now and feel truly grateful and happy for the first time in many years.
