Dr. Eliot James Young, MD

I had seen Dr. Young back in 2006-2007 before he had switched his specialty from Primary Care to Sports Medicine. I had abdominal pain that he could not provide or would not provide an answer for. He only gave me pills for the pain which did not alleviate the pain. When I informed him that the pain was not going away, instead of Dr. Young investigating further, he responded that my pain was all in my head. I went for a second opinion where they ran tests and discovered that I had ulcers caused by H. Pylori. Thanks for nothing.

Dr Young had an incredible way of communicating with my student athlete. Initial diagnosis plus follow-up visits were informative with a plan given to follow for recovery. He completely understood where my son was with his injury and coached him past his fears of returning to play. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DOC!

I’ve been to this practice for several things over the years, shoulder, knee, foot. Usually Dr. Elliot will ‘triage’ my injury, and if needed, refer me to one of the cutters for surgery. He takes plenty of time to get to know me and offers options outside of surgery. I enjoy his people skills and would not hesitate recommending him. He came highly recommended by a buddy/general practitioner of mine.

Dr Young has treated me several times over the last four years primarily for OA related issues in the knee and SI-1 joint. He recently evaluated a rotator cuff tear with an MRI and referred me one of his associates. He explains diagnosis and treatment in laymen's terms and answers all my questions. I have full confidence in him! I am 71 years old and he has done a great job keeping me in the game!

Excellent doctor. I rarely take a chance with a new doctor without several references. Took a chance on this one based on my primary doctor referral and after 3 months of pain. Great experience with Dr. Young and his staff.
