Dr. Elisa Jeanine Kolk, MD

My wife and children love Dr. Kolk. She has helped my family, my wife especially, so much over the last year. I have even chosen to go to Dr. Kolk for treatment rather than the VA because she takes such excellent care of my family. She's very knowledgeable and never disregards a symptom of complaint. We got really lucky when we became established with her. Would recommend to all friends and family.

I post this review everywhere I can. Elisa Kolk is the most brilliant and promising physician that has ever treated me. Speaking personally as an experienced PA-C with two young children and Veteran husband-- Dr. Kolk is, hands-down, the kindest and most naturally talented doctor that I have ever met. I have been treated by Dr. Kolk for roughly one year, and she has seen me through a variety of ailments, chronic pain, and a high-risk pregnancy. She is tremendously thorough with diagnoses and treatment plans. She takes her time with her patients to ensure each patient is well-educated, and magically she still runs on time, every time. Dr. Kolk's most treasurable attribute is her compassion. She listens to her patients with authentic interest; she trusts her patient's personal frame of reference; and, she shows genuine concern for every patient's well-being. She even takes the time to make follow-up calls to check on her patient's progress after treatment. Of all the… physicians I have worked with and all the physicians (from a variety of different specialties) that have treated me throughout my life, Dr. Kolk stands at first place. She is simply the best. I trust Dr. Kolk with my life. In fact, I have made her the sole provider for all four of the people in my household. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone. If ever asked to describe Dr. Kolk in three words, I would say: empathetic, magnanimous, and gifted. Having worked alongside many other doctors and medical professionals, I can say with ease: Dr. Kolk is one of the few doctors that pursued medicine to genuinely help improve the lives of others. It's a shame that there is only one of her in this world.

I met Dr. Kolk today for the first time. She was by far the worst medical professional that I have ever encountered. She was rude, condescending, and judgmental. I had questions regarding her instructions and she was very irritated that she had to repeat anything. When I was explaining my medical issue she stopped me several times with irritation saying that she is not there yet on her screen. She dismissed any input that I had. Dr. Klok never said “nice to meet you”, never smiled the entire visit, and did not say good bye. I would not be comfortable ever going to see her again.

No personality at all and makes you feel like you're a bother. Will be changing doctors asap!
