Dr. Elisa Maria Muniz, MD

Dr. Muñiz seemed genuinely interested in me and my health concerns. She was very thorough in answering my questions and never at any time did the visit feel rushed. I will definitely book future appointments with her.

Dr. Muniz was my doctor for pre-natal care and the delivery of my healthy baby boy. She was very patient in answering my questions (and I had many!) and made me feel comfortable during my exams. When I have another baby, I will definitely be seeing Dr. Muniz again.

I saw Dr Muniz for several prenatal visits in 2010 and found her to be very caring and professional. She answered my many questions and always made me feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

Dr. Muniz is wonderful. I was pregnant in 2010 and saw a few other doctors at Valley Women for Women and when I found her, I stayed with her. She is so caring and a wonderful doctor!

This review only applies to Elisa Muniz and not the staff at LaserAway. I am assuming this is the same â??doctorâ?? who now is employed as the medical director of laserAway. Her word obviously holds no weight she assures a patient with clearly an intention just to get a patient out of the office. Honestly when discussing my concerns with her both in person and over the phone it was very obvious she could care less. While pretending to be concerned with my situation, she out right lied and made false promises.   I am glad to see I am not the only patient that is not satisfied with her performance as a doctor. This just confirms the kind of person she is. BEWARE! Â

This doctor never listen to my concerns and worries. She keeps on assuring me, but everything went wrong! Do not get her as your OB before its too late! She is arrogant and never listens to patients. She thought she knows everything, but she does not!!!

She misdiagnosed me at the very beginning of my pregnancy and was attempting to schedule me for a D&C. I asked her if she could be wrong and she took a breath and sarcastically said "of course anything is possible... however highly unlikely". I left in tears. Devastated I was going to have to have a D&C. I waited 3 days and contacted another doctor who had me wait another week and get another ultrasound... turns out I had a perfectly healthy baby. She almost aborted a baby. I couldn't believe it.

While I was pregnant in 2009 I went to Valley Women For Women and all of the doctors were great except for Dr. Muniz. I saw her 2 times. Both times she acted like she had somewhere more imporant to be. I asked her a question about delivary methods and she didn't even let me finish asking before she said NO! Also, all of the other doctors said I was doing great with my weight gain and she said "You're doing fine with your weight gain but you really need to watch it. You're already overweight and if you deliver this baby and have another right away you're going to be obese" Probably not the nicest thing to say to a pregnant woman. If you go to Valley women for women see any doctor BUT Dr. Muniz.

I have been going to Valley Women For Women for years and I have had two babies under the care of one of thier wonderful doctors, however, I had the unfortunate experience of seeing Dr. Muniz on several occasions and she is rude, arrogant, uncaring, and quite frankly one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. There are several wonderful doctors at this center, but she is NOT one of them and if you are pregnant, I wouldn't recommend going here. Their staff has gotten too large and the experience has become very impersonal.

It is very hard to get an appointment with any of the doctors at valley women for women. I finally got an appointment with Dr Elisa Muniz on 8/30/10.I got a call from the office on Monday saying that the Doctor had called in sick. They gave me another appointment for the next day. I was late by excatly 15 min due taking a wrong turn and had to call the office to get the directions. Dr Muniz refused to me because I was 15 min late!!!! She had no problems calling in sick to work and making me wait for a week to see her. I needed her attention due to my medical problem but she didn't care about it. The office manager explained everyhing to the Doctor but she still refused to see me. I think people who have no care for the sick shouldn't become a doctor!!!! I will never go back to this Doctor. I wouldn't trust her with my life as I think she is very lazy and irresponsible doctor! I do have to give credit to Sean Housler who tried to rectify the situation by giving me a appointment with… another Doctor. I did cancel the appointment and now going to see another doctor at a different medical practice.
