Dr. Anton is amazing!!!

Knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. Recommend for GYN care! Sadly she’s not practicing Obstetrics anymore.

She is very personable and reassuring. Just the kind of doctor you need to see in your pregnancy.

Dr Anton is extremely skillful. I wanted a normal delivery. But my baby was in an akward position during the last week of my pregnancy. Only because of Dr Anton's super high skill and guidance I was able to do normal delivery.

I was Dr. Antons patient for two visits and I was frankly shocked by her lack of follow up and by her unprofessionalmanner. I have a high-risk pregnancy so there were two doctors following my care. I had a question about a basic supplement. The high-risk group felt that was Dr. Antons responsibility and Dr. Anton wanted then to handle (basically everything) but she never communicated that to them. I was getting the run around and became increasingly frustrated. There was a very nice person on the phone who I explained all this to and I talked to her about switching doctors as I felt Dr. Anton was dropping the ball. Later investigation revealed that I couldnt become a patient of the high-risk group because my condition didnt warrant such a move and my insurance wouldnt pay for it. At my next appointment Dr. Anton basically accused me of attacking her staff not her but her staff?? There was also some hostility because I was interested in seeing another doctor rather than… waiting the 30 minutes for her as she was going to be late (apparently that was bad). The conversation was bizarre, she kept telling me all things that she had told her assistant to call me back about however since the assistant never did I never got an answer to my question. I would calmly explain what had happened but she gave my perspective no value and continued to escalate with statements about how I was hostile, attacking, etc. It was clear that she was angry about something (probably me wanted to switch doctors) and rather than addressing our miscommunication in a way to resolve it she was using it as an emotional vent. Most places will try to address conflict by avoiding blame words and trying to fix the communication, Anton was doing to opposite. I finally walked out you cant resolve conflict alone and I could see that there was never going to be any trust between us again.At the front desk I took the medical information release form and canceled my future appointments with no regrets. Two days later there was a ring at the front door they had sent me a hard copy of my medical records without giving me any notice or me signing any sort of request for them to do so. At every other doctors office getting medical records requires some type of formal signature, apparently this office will send you your records without any warning at all. I signed for them but the delivery person never asked for an ID or anything. I would guess that this is a violation of HIPPA but I am not a lawyer. I am sure Dr. Anton is a very nice person if there are no conflicts or disagreements. I suspect however, if you call her on something or point out that she dropped the ball you might as well find another doctor.

Dr. Anton is a great ob/gyn! But the problem is she has too many patients! Wonderful, compassionate, extremely calm, competent and cheerful doctor who is overworked b/c everybody likes her and would recommend her!

Dr. Anton delivered my son in 2007. At that time, I was happy enough with her. Since then I've stopped seeing her. She never takes the time to answer my questions, is always in a hurry. I feel like I'm an inconvenience. For over a year they treated my eczema as a yeast infection. They told me a lump was scar tissue without looking any further and I just found out from my family doctor and many tests that it's a lump of endometrial tissue. I'm very unhappy with my care at BelleGrove OBGYN and will not be going back ever.

My experience with Dr. Anton began when I was halfway through my pregnancy and I moved into the area. I was nervous about changing doctors, but my nerves were put to rest after my first visit. The staff were courteous and helpful, despite the long waiting time. Once I got past the waiting room and met my doctor, I was relieved. Dr. Anton's nurses were great, very personable and quick. Dr. Anton herself was professional, but caring. She did her job and I felt very cared for. I felt she remembered me and my family at every appointment and I never felt like just a number. The negatives were this was my second pregnancy and I wanted a VBac. They will not consent to a VBac, no matter what the situation. Also, the waiting times vary widely. I have waited up to an hour for my appointment, which is both positive and negative. I think Dr. Anton runs behind because she spends more time with each patient getting to know them and thoroughly answering all their questions. Oh, and one of the best… parts of Dr. Anton is the lab at the BelGrove practice is great at drawing blood - I hardly feel a thing!
