Dr. Elisabeth Brewer has improved my health substantially. In the two years that I have been her patient, she has checked matters carefully. She has a vast referral network. She checks symptoms while they are manageable.

Game changing MD. My entire life- I’ve been 40-50 pounds overweight. I’ve tortured myself with diets, surgery, starvation and the failure that follows. Countless doctors that tell you to eat better and exercise- and yet when you do and don’t get results, you must be lying. Finding Dr Brewer was a Godsend. She believes using medication to move one’s weight set point and shares the science to prove without it- weight loss will inevitably fail for most of us. With her support and medication she’s suggested, I’ve seen successes I’ve never had before and have a mindset I e never had before. She’s been inquisitive, thoughtful, caring and friendly. Her staff has been superb. I encourage any adult to try her- especially if you struggle with your weight and are open to trying medication. Her mindset and philosophy on this topic has helped me start to unravel 35 years of noise I’ve created in my head.

Went as a new patient for an annual physical. Very impersonal and somewhat cold. Rushing through the visit and didn’t really ask any questions about by health or family history. I had a specific question about something and she told me to make a separate appointment to discuss as my annual physical was just to “meet me.” Felt very dismissed and wouldn’t feel comfortable going to her with concerns or questions. Will go to Partners practice in Wellesley instead as I have heard they have wonderful doctors and Nurse Practitioners.

First class medical care from a highly skilled clinician with a personality and strong commitment to taking care of her patients. Wish she did not leave the Newton Wellesley as she is a great MD who geuinely cares about her patients

Dr Brewer’s office manner is professional yet personable, which sets the patient quickly at ease and enables her to draw out information from the patient to a much greater extent than other primary providers I have had. She processes this information very well. The combination of these attributes makes her an exellent diagnostician.

Dr. Brewer was easy to talk to and takes plenty of time to understand any issues you have. She makes patients feel valued as individuals.
